Interesting fact - no Liverpool player came on as a sub in the league in 2010 and scored.
Well, I thought it was interesting.
shelvey scored a penalty as sub on his debut Sure was a league game.

A couple of LFC geeks I know are never wrong about this stuff and there is something going on fo sho.
Anyone now thinks Roy's applauding The Kop may hav been him knowing?
Since the advent of twitter I've heard so many false dawns about the club it's untrue but I also wouldn't be surprised to wake up managerless tomorrow.
Twitter awash with this now. Not sure if they are all triggered by one source or if it's actually the case that this is definitely happening. This one sums them all up: @thisisanfield All major newspapers reporting owners have lost patience with Hodgson & will appoint a caretaker (likely Dalglish) until end of season. #LFC

Well apparently his knowledge on football/players is unbelievable but then so is Avram Grant's. Kenny at least does have good tactics and style though. I think it's more about if Roy stays until the summer Torres and Reina go. (See article on here one page back about Reina's new 'tactics') where as Dalglish's influence is enormous. In the long term I think it has to be someone young, possibly left field ish a la Wenger 15 years ago. Klopp and Villas Boas have been touted and Ragnick has some Twitter rumour momentum. All potentially bright managers, kinda like Owen Coyle but at bigger clubs with a bit more achieved. I'd love someone as crazy as Van Gaal, a Hitzfeld right now I'd take Rijkaard. He's attracted the biggest names in the world before and that works in terms of player influence. Hiddink has never broken a contract in his life but I don't know if he'll be Turkey manager for ages. He's another good manager struggling there. Any of the names mentioned > Bodgson.

I would love Hiddink to come to Liverpool. Turkey will sack him soon enough as they always do. He could well be available by June Time

Superb interview, especially part 2 Can you imagine someone showing up at a professional club and -- just like in a corporate takeover -- reassessing everyone and asking questions like: "Who is really good, and who is really in the right place?" This is exactly what Liverpool needs

This whole Hodgson saga reminds me of Alex Ferguson when he came to Man U. I reckon Roy will build a dynasty at Anfield over the next 10 years
