Never a penalty - not a foul and not in the area! Howard Webb MBE LOL.

Definitely a foul. Just unfortunately given as a penalty.

A foul which way? It was shoulder to shoulder - could be given either way, or more correctly, neither way.

Flanagan barged into him from behind when he was in possession of the ball and sent him sprawling. It's no different to how Lucas earned that penalty at Arsenal, to be honest. It was definitely a foul, irrelevant of whether he played for it or not.

Shelvey on for Spearing, and he's already added another attacking element to the side.

Doesn't look like they'll get anything from the game. Blessing in disguise for Liverpool probably as they can focus on the league

Didn't happen today - Spurs very solid at the back, and Liverpool mis-firing.
Looks like the 5th place will be a step too far for Liverpool , which is a shame. Can now look forward to the summer transfer window and see what the new season brings under the new manager. We've definitely got one great new signing in the middle - namely Stevie Gerrard, who will be like a new signing when he comes back (assuming he's fully fit and recovered).

Meh, I think Gerrard has been poor the past two seasons and is way past his best. Would prefer to concentrate on the future

Like I said, an uninjured Gerrard will be like a new signing. He played for the whole of this season, and a large chunk of the season before with an injury. A fit Gerrard is world class, and it's nonsense to suggest otherwise.

True, a fit Gerrard will be...I'd still sell him though..injury prown and too old...he'll never reach his peak again.
