You need to get over this word troll,I am just offering my opinion,it just so happens you don't like them or agree with them.

You are here to offer a negative connotation on everything Liverpool related obviously. You have offered nothing insightful, just bitterness. I can probably guess who you support, so troll is about right.

I think Nem's post below sums you up.

He has got a point though,Gerrard has a history of not being able to stand up in a 15mph wind.

I agree to an extent. But it's just funny coming from a Chelsea fan (Drogba diving.... lol) who on the thm's forum does eveything he can to hammer every other side.

I am well capable of offering opinions both positive and negative on any side.

Obviously when it comes to sides other than my own it is more natural to mention what I perceive to be the negatives rather than the positives but I can be more than fair when I want to be but I like the banter with opposing fans as well.

Btw Drogba is not the figurehead of our club, which makes the case slightly different, plus he is foreign, sure they all do it don't they?  Wink

But I don't want any fallouts,I like your passion for your club, just take most of my criticisms for what they are,an opposing fan having some banter/giving a rubdown, most of them anyway.

Yeah apologies, just don't appreciate being called a troll for giving my opinion and having a bit of banter.

Murph have we established who you support yet? just out of curiousity

I would imagine Man Ure is the most likely answer.

Probably, its just that for banter purposes its only fair we should know who he supports, so if its ManU then someone can put up the Rooney diving shrek video to match his Stevie G one

These good? Smiley

Fair do's, I'd just rather not get into tilting over 'Benitez is shit' and 'Gerrard is a diver' every week coz I can do that by talking to my 8 year old cousins and buying The Sun. Tbh I'd rather delete the thread than descend into that. Like your good self I am no forum warrior, posting on this forum and that, I just air my views here with some other knowledgeable reds and that's it really. Like you I cant really be arsed with any drama.

I'm sure you do have more to say, but I dont think you'll get much joy on any thread with repeated rubdowns and "WALOFS" as a response on people's views. Not coz we cant take it (and this season believe me, we, ie me and Kinboshi, cant Wink - see above!) but more becuase it'd be good to hear your actual football insight than your banter. There is a lot wrong with our club, I just dont think anyone has put their finger on it yet.

Anywho feel free to tell me your views on Chelsea actually being a small club, the "ghost goal" in 2005, followed by the comedy John Terry slip and finally the Norweigan (Catalonian) referee. Wink (I jest obv) Maybe you should start a Chelsea thread....

LOL! @ the Drog. If he didn't dive (and play for Chelsea) I'd love him.

Any Liverpool fans catch Sunday Supplement this morning?

I slept in but have just caught up with the 3 clips on sky sports website.A real mix of journalists,Ian McGarry(who is a Chelsea fan but his views are sometimes too extreme for me personally),Paul Hetherington(who I enjoy and I think stays balanced and gives genuine opinions) and then Mick Dennis who is only saved the award for most annoying journalist because of Patrick Barclay.

Anyway one of the clips discussed Rafa and Liverpool, clip is 8 minutes long so i'm sure they discussed more on the subject than I saw.

Ian McGarry claimed to know for a fact that 3 managers were approached earlier in the season via 2 agents about the managerial position at Liverpool but that all 3 refused to get into discussions after being told their question as to who was in charge would not be answered.

Is this a case of actual events or McGarry hot-air,I believe he is prone to both, and if this actually happened any ideas on who the managers were?

I'm sceptical because I know McGarry is anti-Rafa.

Btw Baron,I read in earlier post that you stated your favourite journalist is a Chelsea fan, which one is it out of interest?

I hate McGarry but I would guess this is a half truth. As much as I hate them the yanks are very good at contingency plans with regards to budgets, sponsorships, back up deals and, as they proved with Klinsmann before, the manager.

Klinsmann once again made some roundabout comments last week about managing a big EPL side although this may have been just him trying to get back into management after a bad job at Bayern and knowing the yanks were keen on him before. He's a smart fella and may just have been putting his name into the frame should anything happen.

If they send Rafa packing it wont be until the summer but I have a feeling that, very similar to Wenger's current mandate whilst Arsenal pay off a large debt, top 4 and a decent run at some trophies is enough for the owners for now.

But I dont doubt they have made noises in the direction of certain managers.

A good young journo on the main Chelsea blogging site. He gets it right most times and his analysis of Chelsea vs Man Ure as two footballing empires is outstanding. Rumour is he's on to bigger and better things too. I dont know his real name though.

Just had a text from a VERY reliable source:

"Christian Purslow has called a meeting with the players, but Rafa is not involved.  No reason given."
