The contradiction amused me

We are DEFINITELY not selling him.

Especially to Arsenal.

So it takes for him to want away for Liv to turn against him...just the year late imo.

imo, his personal views are of know interest to me, how he acts in his personal life again I don't care.  He wears the red of Liverpool for 90mins per week, and I expect him to be dragged off the park in exhaustion because he is playing for MY club.

What else he does I don't care.

He disrespects MY club, saying he doesn't want to play for us, then yes I will "turn against him".

pick some others out, and it seems strong still to me...

"He won't be sold even if a foreign club comes in because we do not have time to sign a suitable replacement," he said.
"It's not about finances. So late in the window... we can't replace him. So for football reasons we can't sell, and especially to Arsenal."

Very similar statement as before selling Torres to Chelsea

Got to play hard ball, get the maximum price, but he's not staying

Understand the hard-ball play, but surely, you'd think at least, we've learnt from Torres/Carroll mess that we wouldn't sell before we bought, and unless we've got something pretty much sealed in the background, we won't repeat the 'mistake' again?

Pretty sure he was wearing the badge of your club when he had a conversation with Patrice Evra and when he felt peckish against Chelsea.

Club stood by him like the mother of a delinquent teenager who's gone round mugging old ladies. "He's only a boy. He means well but he's got in with the wrong crowd"

Now he's told his mother to Foxtrot Oscar and she's washing her hands of him.

Can't blame the rest of society for saying it's about time!

So he'll train on his own til January and you'll play Sturridge and or Aspas up front for half the season?

They have to be working on a replacement behind the scenes but obviously can't confirm that until a first payment for Suarez is agreed.

100% agree, i'm being blinded by the loyalty aspect, in the same way, the Cantona kick, I was I'm sure going ape at any manc fan that stood by him....

If you like I think all LFC players are my children, so defend them whatever..if they turn on me, then I will reserve my right to let them fly away.

Always think, wrongly I'm sure, in the bigger, much bigger picture, that football, and the fans especially can never view their club from a 'social point of view'

Undivided loyalty beyond all logically reason.

That is the worry, so I do hope you're right.  I'm relaxed in the fact that you normally are!

....Or he stops sulking and apologies, and trains like he wants to play?

I am talking about biting someone, being banned for racist language, diving, cheating all while on the pitch. Seems Liverpool fans accept this was ok, but the moment he says I want to leave they find that unacceptable.. baffling.

I understand its baffling, but while I'd rather he didn't dive, if he does and its get a goal, very much not going to complain about it.

Biting was in-defensiveable. Do I want him out because of it, no. He got his just suspension. Evra; found guilty; punished. His views are of no concern of mine. Would I rather he was found not guilty- of course. As he represents my club. Throw him out because of his opinions. No.

Saying he doesn't want to play for the club anymore is to me, a direct insult to everything I stood up for him for. So for tht I'm offended by him.

I don't pretend its logical at all.

Yes its easier for me to say I wouldn't accept his on field behavior as I don't support Liverpool, home fans much more forgiving and that's fine. I just feel he wants a clean break and a fresh start, but surly based on his previous comments on the English press it would be a move abroad..

I am baffled he wants to move to another English club.

Skybet now have Suarez at 10/11 to stay and 10/11 to leave by the end of the window. Seems the bookies believe John Henry.

I could be wrong, normally am, but I think this was just an excuse earlier in the summer for a reason to leave us.  Once it was clear Madrid (his seemingly desired place) didn't come and get him with open arms, he slightly changed tact shall we say, and his new reason was he wanted CL football.

Arsenal now have Fenerbache in the play-off - if they lose that..hmm i wonder!

Luis Suarez is trying to force his way out of Uruguay to play for Spain in the World Cup. He told a radio station that his mum and dad gave him assurances, when he was 5yrs old, that he would be able to move to a national team who were defiantly in the World Cup Finals if Uruguay look like they wouldn't make it. Although his parents have his Uruguayan Passport, Suarez is adamant they told him he was Spanish. His agent says it is entirely possible his parents told him he was Brazillian, Argentine or Mexican, depending on which team he fancied playing for.

If these are genuine comments attributed to Gordon Taylor I think he needs to see a doctor

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23635013

He would be gone in less than 24 hours for the right offer
