A new CB required.
He was one who promised lots and arrived with great things being said about him, but really hasn't managed to shine at Liverpool. The opposite of Sami Hyypia, for example.

How depressed do we get if Spurs (likely) "win" willian?
Is it shrewd business that we wouldn't pay the reported €43m, or is that clever spin by FSG?
Or is it a fact that we are no longer the prime draw for these type of players, which we all kind of understand, but still, pretty damn frightening to think how far we've fallen...
We've money to spend seemingly, and I think i read some where, made actually made £5m this summer, what with a reported £25m kitty beforehand, and yet we've, in theory, done nothing with it, but not for the want of trying!
now it's looking like we are falling behind the (with respect) like of spurs..

Waz, here's your answer:
http://m.101greatgoals.com/blog/absolutely-vile-a-handful-of-liverpool-fans-post-anti-semitic-tweets-after-spurs-win-willian-race/
The article rightly points out from the start that this is a tiny minority of idiots, rather than any form of representatation of the Liverpool fans.
Not like Spurs have come out of nowhere with this one, either. We have been after him for over a year and almost signed him in January.

Tal, not sure the link is relevant to my question?
The small minority arent worth my time, so I scanned the link, and while the posts are disgusting and well pointless, not sure that gives me an answer to my question?
Other than " how depressed do we get" is referring to these muppets?
That's not what I was meaning, and certainly that isn't being depressed, or trying to understand what has happened to us, that's just idiots being idiots

I can't believe the Police even considered that this was anything but a terrible idea.

Excellent result and a great performance. With 1 or 2 more first XI candidates we'll have a strong side this year.

First half, Liverpool were excellent and the goal summed it up for me.
Second half wasn't as good. Lost control of the game, gave the ball away far too easily and allowed Villa to create chances. Defended well at times though, and can't complain at another clean sheet. Much better start to the season than last year!

Sat too deep 2nd half and invited them on. Solid enough, and kept a confident side at home pretty much at bay.
During the season, their are times when you want to avoid certain teams, and to play certainly teams- villa currently were ones to avoid- so a good job well done.
