Borini out on loan likely.

Andrea " The Magician " Dossena could be making a return to the Premier League with Sunderland.

Liverpool Football Club can confirm that forward Daniel Pacheco has left the Reds to join Spanish outfit AD Alcorcon.

Never quite had that extra bit of quality ,would probably have been a journeyman Champs/League 1 striker.

Always put a shift in when selected.. Good luck son.

Odd considering Sturridge looks injured and Borini looked lively this summer.

Dossena = hero.

16.55m net spent. Wages greatly reduced. Squad improved. First XI (defence) improved. Deadwood sold.

Best window in 5 years.

Downing sold, Suarez still at the club. Had thought Suarez was on his way and to be honest felt relieved to be seeing the back of him for various reasons. Guess he'll be like a new signing now who has to prove himself again and cut out the baggage he brings. Still wouldn't be surprised to see him the target of a big European side in January as he'll be one of the only world class forwards who won't be cup-tied in Europe.

 Not sure about Alberto or Aspas, so we'll have to wait and see with them. Otherwise some good signings and done in stark contrast to when we panic-bought Carroll.

very good transfer window

what are early thoughts on Aspas? give him time to settle? on the bench behind Suarez and Sturrdige when both available?

From a small sample,his off the ball movement and eye for a pass have been superb but needs to work on his ball retention.

I suspect that he may well be used as a substitute against top 6 sides , it will be interesting to see what lineup Brendan uses when Suarez is back ,as he has stated that he wants to use Coutino in the hole.

May well be used as a starter on the left against teams outside the top 6 as his workrate is very good.

Like any new player it takes a bit of time to settle and once he scores i expect him to gain a lot of confidence.

As the web-footed one said, still early days for Aspas, and also for Alberto.  Neither have particularly shone so far, but far too soon to tell if they're going to be stars or flops (or something in between).

It's nice to have options, but not sure we have that many striking options with Suarez and Sturridge as the only too recognised experienced strikers in the squad.  Thought we might have looked at another during the window, but certainly happier this year than last.  The defence certainly looks to have more strength in depth now.
