Awful game by Webb, how he can be standing 10 yards away, with clear lines of sight and still give decisions against Liverpool is nothing short of corrupt.

Having said that Liverpool were poor today. Mignolet has been exposed as a limited keeper the past few weeks and needs replacing.
Rogers also got the formation wrong today, Liverpool were over run in midfield and needed an extra player deep to keep things tight. Allen got exposed for just how limited he is.

How Chelsea are top 3 is beyond me. If that was their best performance of the season, and they got away with the win thanks to Webb, then I cant see them keeping up the challenge.
Man City by far and away the best team Liverpool have faced this season

Agree with all this except the last line. Arsenal crushed us. City got away with one.

Yeah you're probs right. In truth I only saw the 1st half of City game 'live' as I had to go to work. Just thought City looked utterly awesome in that 1st half

Allen out for 6weeks. Sakho 8 weeks

Feel for both of them who seem to have found some form recently (although not Vs Chelsea)

One thing is for certain - we'll buy in the window

We were looking to sign Montoya on a freebie as his contracts up this summer and tata martinos not a huge fan. I know Inter and one other club were after him.

Rumourville: In for Lucas and Menez from PSG.

I've been impressed by Allen recently,  finally showing what we paid the money for. Johnson and Lucas have been poor these last 2 games imo. But overall future's looking good.

If only we could combine Rafa's defensive solidity and Brendan's attacking fluidity!

Got loads of cover a centre back in and ideal world another striker, left back and attacking central midfielder

Having loads of centre backs doesn't make you solid. We're defensively not great, way too susceptible to concede from set pieces. Carragher made a good point about us conceding too many goals in big matches away from home. 2 at Arsenal, City and Chelsea meaning you need 3 to win, not gonna happen too often.

Liverpool have now hit the woodwork 16 times this season, more than any other Premier League side.

Same as last season.  Scored more than any other Premier League side this year as well though - so that's an improvement.
