Im guessing a large percentage of Lucas' and Maschs' passes were sideways or backwards.
Stats like these have never held much importance for me, i always find their can be made to look better than they actually are.

Lucas is shit though He's ok but he's like Masch's crapper younger brother. There is no creativity between them.

Agree. What it does show is that Lucas can actually tackle and not lose the ball but it also speaks volumes about our creativity or lack there of.

Didn't Sami have one of the highest passing success rates when he played?
Lucas has the 'tag', irrelevant of how he does for the next 18 months he'll have to put in lots of 8/10 performances for people to change their minds, very similar to how Fletcher has turned it around for him self at Utd

Yeah but CBs at top sides will always have good stats on pass completion due to a lot of pinging it around the back four to find breakthroughs vs some sides. And true - I'm not sure he' that good though tbh.

Rafa's interviews are so cringing, 'we controlled the game, lots of good possession' etc, borderline have to turn him these days

We were shite last night. Utter dirge.
Where was the passion and effort from last week? Gerrard looked completely disinterested.

'We have turned the corner' - Gerrard. Fuck me, he's been brainwashed by Benitez!

Yup I'm sick of hearing that same shite churned out week after week, that was pure dirt that performance last night and wow did Gerrard have a mare or what.

To me he doesn't look fit. More to the point why didn't Aquilani start after a good game versus Spurs? Team selection last night was wrong imo but then I guess if he doesn't play Gerrard you get about 88 camera angles of Gerrard on the bench "unhappy and off to City this summer" and if we lose Rafa gets it even more so. IMHO Gerrard wouldn't have started had he not been under this much pressure as he showed several times last season when Gerrard wasn't fit. When pressure affects your decisions it may be time to go.
