Yep, he was at the boxing last night (probably fancied his chances against Sprott). Lambert deserves a start. I'd play him up top with Sterling. Diamond in the middle with Gerrard at the base, Can and Henderson in front of him, and Coutinho at the top. But Rodgers doesn't seem to favour that formation.

Don't mind that formation but would like to see Brenda do something a bit leftfield...perhaps Sinclair or Yesil to start upfront instead of Lambert. Not going to find out how good they are until you give them a chance. Hope Suso is in the squad also.
