Odds on Rafa coming back?

Mantis will be delighted if it happens

just as john aldridge just said on twitter.

opened a can of worms re rafa respect him gave me 2 gr8 nights,we are now yrds behind, had is day.move on.

bty  Jay Spearing in talks over new deal. great news.  now just give us MON as our new manager.

MO'N is short termism for me. Very good to have right now but just not good enough to get us to our lofty goals.

I would go for someone younger. Laurent Blanc or someone like that with a lot to prove.

I've stated it before but seen as its came up again, I think MON would be an excellent manager for us and like Tighty I think Kin and Baron are seriously undervaluing O'Neills abilities.

Rafa's time at Liverpool has been IMO. Not saying replacing him with Hodgson was a good idea obv but Rafa couldn't do anything with them anymore.

The same for Wenger at Arsenal IMO...reckon it's time for him to go now.

Rafa >>>>>>>>>>>>> Hodgson

Is there anyone else available who could get Liverpool challenging again in Europe and the Premier League?

Whats with all the manager talk anyway?, have i missed something? Did Hodgson get chopped and i didn't hear about it or what

As far as i see Hodgson is in charge, hopefully he will sign a couple of decent players in Jan and we will improve our away record in the 2nd half of the season. I dont mind giving hima fair crack of the whip see how the season ends then talk about a new manager if things dont pick up.

MON is would be the perfect choice short, middle and long term.  JEsus look at his record ask every player he has managed (except those that bitched at villa that wern't gd enought) he demanded more money for top quaility to guarantee champions league spot for short term goal.    He was turned dn.    Lets see how great villa do now.

Now  John Henry will give MON these funds obv  and start to bulid again.
Please not rafa back (thanks for the memories bty)    Why Bring him back!!! He won 2 trophies, the first one of which was with Houlliers squad!!! He spent a fortune on crap players (only 3 of which were quality signings!), he even managed to get rid of one of those quality players by trying to replace him with Gareth Barry! I mean come one!! Not in a million years would I want Rafa back! Oh, and the Youth team had no chance of making the 1st team squad under him.  ! He swamped it with rubbish spaniards!

MON just ticks all thats needed in thoses qualities thats required to bring liverpool back .   now with the backing of Henry.   Liverpool willl/would be eventually back to where it belongs.

Hodgson was given until the end of the season - he's effectively a caretaker.  Liverpool will have a new manager come the summer - the question is, will the board decide to bring one in sooner rather than later?

I think the same but would Rafa work well uner a DoF like Commolli? It's tough to know either way imo. If he didn't have sole control of transfers I think we'd be better off but I'd take most people over Hodgson right now so for me this is a clear yes in terms of bringing him back.

André Villas-Boas - Long Term Choice

He was linked with us a few weeks back. People have made all the right noises about him.
