I think it's an excellent signing.  He's there now having his medical.

5.5m is a joke even with only one year left, we paid more when he was unproven.

Really happy with this signing. Glad we've added some more pace. Our left side looks very good.

On a side, my heart goes out to NUFC fans. Ashley Out!

Apparently Bolton's Cahill is the next target.

So far we've signed Villa's, Sunderland's. Blackpool's and Newcastle's players of the season!  Good work from Comolli and Dalglish (and of course the owners for getting their chequebook out).

"Fans" sure do vote for these things, he's been there or there abouts both seasons though and is a great signing for you.

Hull City manager Nigel Pearson has conceded defeat in his bid to bring Liverpool defender Daniel Ayala back to the KC Stadium.

Ayala impressed during a three-month loan spell with the Tigers last season and an £850,000 fee had been agreed with Liverpool.
Pearson was optimistic of winning the race to sign the young Spaniard, despite the competition from other clubs.

Swansea City and Ipswich Town had been linked with moves for Ayala, who also undertook a loan spell at Derby County last term.

However, reports suggest Premier League new boys Norwich City are now set to complete a deal to take Ayala to Carrow Road.

Heard from three sources about tomorrow's starting XI.

Three completely different teams! Bet none of them are right Cheesy

Johnson is injured apparently, and it'll be Kelly and Aurelio as full backs.
