Went to yesterday's game. Got to say we didn't look fit in the second half at all. Legs went all over the pitch IMO.

Second half we looked like a team that hadn't played for a while and had a lot of new players getting used to the side.  Funnily enough though, they didn't look like that in the first half!

I was gonna link a vid but cant find any on youtube...Gervinho went down in the box , ref didnt give it(It was a pen imo) Barton decides It was a dive and forcefully grabs Gervinho by the scruff of the neck and drags him up to his feet, Melee ensues......Gervinho caressed Bartons face in the melee, Barton went down like a sackoshit

Gerv sees red, yellow for Joey , who then gestures and says to RVP "he punched me , he punched me"

He was incensed by a dive so dived himself.

LOL, no way was it a pen, and caressed, rly ? Barton shouldn't have went down like he did but Gervinho should've been sent off anyway, we all know you can't raise your hands. Barton was clearly still steaming after being stamped on and nothing was done about it and imo that's why he went down but that doesn't make it right. He was lukcy not to get sent off for man handling Gervinho but he had a point, shame he then did the same thing so nullified his point. People are always going to jump on the bandwagon when it's him, I'd guess he's had more stick this week than Song has which is just a joke tbf.

Fair enough Song should've have been sent off, everyone I think acknowledges that fact, even still for a man that dishes out so much himself he acted like a baby after that.

Aswell Taylor deserves a mention for his part in the affair, gesturing that Gervinho swung an elbow to the ref and lino when he didn't even see what happened was pretty poor imo.

Taylor is a knob I'll give you that, I really don't think it was a pen but meh. I guess it depends what you call a slap, there was certainly no force behind it but his hand hit his face so I'd call that a little slap.
