Yep was a pen, and it was a flick he gave Barton, cant be classed as a slap or punch.

Fair enough Song should've have been sent off, everyone I think acknowledges that fact, even still for a man that dishes out so much himself he acted like a baby after that.

Aswell Taylor deserves a mention for his part in the affair, gesturing that Gervinho swung an elbow to the ref and lino when he didn't even see what happened was pretty poor imo.

Taylor is a knob I'll give you that, I really don't think it was a pen but meh. I guess it depends what you call a slap, there was certainly no force behind it but his hand hit his face so I'd call that a little slap.

Honestly I have MOTD sky+'d and have watched it over and over, Tiote deffo clips him, when I saw it live It looked a dive I'll admit that.

When I watched it live I was steaming at the dive, when I seen it on MOTD I admit there was the slightest contact from Simpson ?? but didn't think it was a penalty.

Enrique was outstanding. Lucas, Suarez and Downing very good as were the rest of the back 4.

Really impressed with Enrique, could be the bargain of the season.

Hope Meireless gets more minutes, Downing settled straight into the side.

Top of the League.

Dirk Kuyt's agent claims Inter Milan have made an "attractive offer" for the Liverpool forward as the Nerazzurri seek to replace Samuel Eto'o.

Inter are looking for striking reinforcements with Eto'o poised to join Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala and Kuyt is on their list of targets.

The Italians have held a long-term interest in Dutch international and they tried to sign Kuyt last summer, while former boss Rafa Benitez was still in charge at the San Siro.

Kuyt won't leave Liverpool for Inter at the moment. Last year, when the club was a mess, maybe..but not now.

Liverpool FC this afternoon confirmed that Sotirios Kyrgiakos had left the club and joined Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg.

The Greek defender made 49 appearances for the Reds, scoring three goals, after signing from AEK Athens in August 2009.

He's not a bad squad player (he wouldn't be playing every game, obviously).  Think we're only interested if we can get him on a free.

Sebastian Coates would be a good singing I reckon?  6'5" centre back can't be a bad proposition for the premier league, and only 20 years old.
