U can show solidarity without shirts with his face on it. lol

Yes, and you can show solidarity by wearing t-shirts with his face and name on them. Your point?

My point is that a public display such as that over something so serious is not appropriate imo. Keep that in the dressing room

More than appropriate. Not making a public display of solidarity sends out the wrong message to the fans, the FA and whoever else.

Until the report is seen, as far as Liverpool are concerned he's innocent.

And if the report shows he is guilty of racism? Then?

More extreme example. Lee hughes ran over the and killed someone. Law states he is innocent until proven guilty. His team mates have lee hughes's shirts on a Saturday in support of Lee. Would this be appropriate?

His team mates are showing their solidarity by saying Suarez isn't a racist, but this is what Evra said. He wasn't found guilty of being a racist, he was found guilty of making a racist remark. The FA are saying there's no place for racist remarks on a football field and accept Suarez isn't a racist. Do the Liverpool players and fans think this whole mess could have been settled with a handshake at the end of the game instead?

Let's see what the report says first. Suarez maintains he didn't make a racist remark. Evra maintains he did, and more than ten times.

Either there's no need for a handshake, or there's every need for Evra to be upset.

If the player says he wasn't driving the car and his teammates have seen no contradictory evidence, then they support him surely?

They support him but would it be right to do it on the field of play is what I'm questioning

The 'independent' panel have decided he committed an offence. As yet the report hasn't been seen, and until it has and Liverpool have a chance to respond there is no ban, there is no guilt, we're in a limbo.

Not sure I understand why Liverpool need to wait to see the report. If they know for definite he is innocent then just snap lodge the appeal today and feck the report.

LOL. They are going to appeal. They can't until they have the report. Surely you can understand that?

As I understand they could lodge an appeal today which obv wont be heard until after the report has arrived. If they are deffo going to appeal anyway then snap lodging that appeal pre-report is a great way to show solidarity imo.
