Thought I'd read during his Cardiff season that he still has problems that need managing. Recovery time is greater for him and chance of injury is higher than other players when playing multiple games in a short period of time.

You can't knock pepe's ability between the sticks. Half the games he's played in the prem have been clean sheets. Very stable keeper imo especially when he's had a ropey back four in front. Cech on the other hand was good when the back four were solid but is being exposed now with Luiz and Bosingwa at sixes and sevens. I always thought good keepers had to be a bit nuts and unafraid to dive in where the boots are flying but Cech has lost some of that fearlessness. This season we've seen him progress from full helmet to full helmet with padded chin guard to complete gimp mask. All he needs now is a stick and some skates and he could play goalie in the stanley cup.

Luis Suarez's wiki. page makes for some interesting reading.

Chtistened "The cannibal of Ajax" by the Dutch hacks just before his transfer to liverpoo.

I will say fair play to the lad he bit, he obv wasn't too upset, he was laughing and joking with Suarez at the end of the match.

I thought Reina had been class this season ? Redknapp and Neville talking about Hart as being better than Casillas and being the best in the world was a level surely ? WTF ? Made far too many mistakes this season and is no way a World Class keeper yet. Also was Bellamy a selection decision ? Seems absurd Dalglish wouldn't start him against his old club after he smashed us up.

Agree with all of this. Kenny has said Bellamy needs managing though so I guess what other people have said has truth to it.

Bellamy's knees are fkd, so he can't play too often
Saying that he's looked the most potent threat, I would have picked him

Chance of getting Podolski for half that. Can play central striker or left wing so cover for stuttering Downing when Suarez returns. 98 caps for Germany, only 26, and doesn't go xmas shopping when his team plays.
