If this Liverpool mamanger wasn't called Dalglish, the outcry for him to be sacked given results and money spent would be huge, I reckon
Just a change of name and he gets sacked or are you also changing the managerial record? I think if his last name was Mourinho he'd get a couple of seasons. |

Most chances created. Woodwork hit most times. Possession stats pretty good. Best players injured/banned in large chunks. Obv the finishing has been dire but he literally just had 12 months. Ridiculous knee jerk to think about a sacking now. |

Playing Kuyt upfront by himself. Bad management of Carroll, not using your best player (Bellamy) often enough/in the right games. Spending big money on very average player (Adam/Henderson) guys awful.

Pretty common knowledge Carroll is unfit/disinterested and Bellamy's knees are fooked. Signings haven't been brilliant though no. |

Players like Carroll get fit from playing. They aren't the kind of guys to do a huge amount on the training ground. It's like your neighbours not putting Big Dunc in the team because he didn't look very fit after not playing half a dozen games.
He is a confidence player and will never ever have form for you if he is a bit part player, the team has to revolve around him like it did at Newcastle otherwise it simply won't work.

Disagree on the whole. Carroll's form this season is 80% down to him. He's been awful in huge chunks. Players who prepare properly like Maxi, Bellamy, (dare I say) Kuyt don't come in and play terribly. Turning up with a black eye or an injured thigh after a night out etc doesn't really translate to being the manager's fault imo. |

I'm not saying Kenny is the best manager on Earth, but I dont think even he expected to spend 35m then Carroll to be on the bench this much/be so ineffective. |
