You're mental Tal. I'd happily let him chew Ivanovic's head off and eat it piece by piece for all the entertainment his magnificent talent has brought me this season.
Desperately want him back in August.

Luis Suarez said: "I am deeply sorry for my inexcusable behaviour earlier today during our match against Chelsea.
"I have issued an apology and have tried to contact Branislav Ivanović to speak to him personally. I apologise also to my manager, playing colleagues and everyone at Liverpool Football Club for letting them down."
The club's managing directory Ian Ayre commented: "Luis has made an unreserved apology for his actions today.
"His behaviour is not befitting of any player wearing a Liverpool shirt and Luis is aware that he has let himself and everyone associated with the club down. We will deal with the matter internally and await any action from the FA."
Brendan Rodgers added: "Having reviewed the video footage and spoken to Luis, his behaviour is unacceptable and I have made him aware of this

How? I can't see anything they have done (only read few bits) other than set a PR machine in motion. Man utd banned cantona for the rest of the season (from jan), fa gave him 9 months If this filthy excuse of a human plays for Liverpool again, they will not have handled it well

I should have said the club has handled this very well so far…

The club has handled this very well.
Certainly learnt from the Evra situ in getting a statement out quickly. It's all down to the ref report and if he dealt with it at the time. If so in normal circumstances the FA can't by there own rules do anything about it. That said, I can't see how they can't do anything about it if that is the case. If the ref hasn't, the book will be thrown at him for sure

More from Ayre-
"His behaviour is not befitting of any player wearing LFC shirt & Luis is aware he's let himself & everyone associated with LFC down. The matter will be dealt with internally, and we await any action from the FA."

Why would you want to play football vs an opponent that might bite you. If i was ivanivic i would have got up and kicked the living daylights out of him. at least a 12 month ban
