the best course of action here is for ivanovich to press police charges vs suarez.
It clearly isnt a footballing incident (ie a horror tackle), so let the police charge him with assault/gbh (whatever it is) and deal with it that way. It could never be passed off as an accident and im not sure how he would get off
FA really need to see sense on this one. The fact it is a 2nd incident in the same vein they should throw the book at him. I cant see any reason for any leniency

The club has handled this very well.
How? I can't see anything they have done (only read few bits) other than set a PR machine in motion. Man utd banned cantona for the rest of the season (from jan), fa gave him 9 months If this filthy excuse of a human plays for Liverpool again, they will not have handled it well Stop being such a drama queen! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58ILbyflta8biting is about as disgusting as it gets! please feel free to defend him. i cant think of a single defence. Why would you want to play football vs an opponent that might bite you. If i was ivanivic i would have got up and kicked the living daylights out of him.at least a 12 month ban If you were Ivanovic you'd be built like a brick sh1thouse and more likely to do it. Biting someone on the arm is nothing imo, on the face is a different story. 3 game ban IMO.

No, it was a different vein this time.

Looking at the game as a whole, were Liverpool lucky not to have 2-3 sent off? Never seen so much whining from Carr and Co. as they did yesterday. Torres elbow could also have been a sending off too, thought the Ref was very poor really.

Sturridge and Suarez should have both been sent off.
Carragher wasn't happy at Torres' arm in his face and thenMikel hassling the ref to get Suarez carded/sent off for the handball.

That was my initial thought too. I can't see how it's anything other than assault. The fact it took place on a football pitch means nothing.

It was only a little nip. Babies do it to each other all the time.
I'd rather someone bit me on the arm than went over the top of the ball and snapped my leg in half. Should be a 3 game ban, but FA will panic and give him a 10 game ban.

It's not really about the damage is does to someone or the potential damage, the FA don't give a fuk about that (See Wigan vs Newc tackle) its the image and how people perceive the game, sadly it will be looked upon much worse than a horror tackle.
