The problem yesterday was midfield. Gerrard and Lucas were terrible.

Our fixtures have let us tell a league table lie. Top 4 with the current midfield will be a real stretch.

So we've got 2 years then to ensure we are regular a CL team, otherwise forget it, with the increased revenues…its a must.

Gerrard over last week's blip. Carrying on his outrageous form this season. It's fair to say he's adapted to the deeper role. I can see him playing until much later in this role. Lucas & Hendo both brilliant as well.

A general vast improvement in playing the so called "lesser" teams, as in several previous years, we've always struggled with the Fulhams, Stokes or these world, too many slip-ups, that have always needed up being very costly.

So very pleasing that we're not just winning them, but scoring plenty too. (15 goals in the last 5 games, which included the blank last week)

I feel if we do this continually throughout the season, the results against the "big 4" won't matter as much, and any points we do gain, will help the total, rather than a need for the points.

Only losing 4 league games in the whole on 2013…we're doing something right!

Amazing so many England squads in the other thread don't include Johnson. Hes had his best season to date IMO. Find it hard to argue for a better English right back right.

With the win over fulham yesterday and Chelsea and  Everton dropping points, now today City and Spurs lose I still want Utd to lose.

Or should i be wanting a draw?

Arsenal win every day. We aren't going the for title, but top 4.

So the bigger the gap from teams that are likely to be fighting for that spot the better.

Arsenal to win no?

Surely we're scrapping for Europa League spots with Man Yoo?

Starting to look good. Created 6 chances this weekend and ran the midfield. As his passing and scoring improves he'll be really good.

Just watched the Fulham game again.

Gerrard was simply superb.

Easily the best England right back, walker was shown up against Ukraine defensively he goes to sleep a lot and gets caught out and expects his pace to get him out of trouble
