Back in November, it was all about whether a top 4 finish was possible

Title anyone ? This year might be your best shot for a while to come as I think it's hard for Liverpool to improve at the rate that City and Chelsea are likely to achieve.

Whatever happens, like Arsenal, great season already compared to the recent past

Still about 4th (at a push 3rd). Just can't see either Liverpool or Arsenal competing with the strength of City and Chelsea.

Spurs have managed to stay in contention for fourth with barely a positive goal difference. Incredible really.

Out of jail, i think they call that

Absolutely.  Should have scored at least once when it was 1-1, but couldn't finish them off.  Fulham to their credit played some decent football and will feel unlucky at the end.

Gerrard isn't doing too badly for a player who many have said is past it.  Great penalty as well.

Since the criticism Gerrard has been sensational. He'll get another couple of seasons out of the deeper lying role.

Sturridge and Suarez stay fit and suspension free Lolerpool have every chance of winning the title.

Compared to Citeh and Chelscum the squad is far too thin though.

Sturridge is brilliant. Actually gives England a chance of getting out of their group in the World Cup.

Over his career, Rooney obv.

But on this season's showing Sturridge easily.

Rooney behind Sturridge to use his pace in behind back plus Rooney can pick a pass out

What do we reckon to Rodgers aquisitions?  I think he has done well, and wonder if they had gone for him before letting Kenny Dal lose with the war chest what position Liverpool would be in now.

I think Liverpool need a few more players but I think 2 or 3 players with real quality will be much better than bringing in 5 or 6 average squad players.

I could see Virgil Van Dyke from Celtic being an excellent capture for Liverpool in the summer, but I suspect Celtic will want a similar fee to what they got for Wanyama from Southampton.

Dalglish bought Suarez.

The wheels were well in motion by then. Hodgson was the one who made it happen really.
