@oluwashina: Liverpool defender Kolo Toure has contracted malaria which has ruled him out of Ivory Coast's World Cup warm-up game vs Bosnia-Herzegovina.

£25m offered for Lallana. This should be our ceiling.

Might be excessive already? He's a talent undoubtedly, but that's a lot of money.

I've heard the bid is time-sensitive as well. Not sure how long it's on the table for though.

its the price the saint said  they were looking for so think you will get him for that
and the price i said you would need to offer to get him
but you guys said no you would get him for 20 million

All the talk coming out of Southampton is that we are going to test Liverpool's resolve on Lallana with no deal concluded before the World Cup. The chairman wants a manager in charge before any deals are done. Lambert had to be the exception to that given his ties to Liverpool.

Interesting to see whether Liverpool stick to their word now. They have been very canny with the way they use the media. All this talk of deals must be done now or its all off and we will move onto other targets. I prefer things to happen in the background rather than plastered over Sky Sports news. I am glad Saints look to be standing strong.

Alberto Moreno to Liverpool is done deal apparently.  €22m (£17.9m) fee + €3m (£2.4m) add-ons.

There's talks of us linked to every decent midfielder in Europe at the moment. Cesc would be fantastic of course, but I'm sure his fee and wages would be pretty steep.  I'm sure Arsenal would have him back (?), and other PL clubs will be interested in him as well.

Lambert announcement today, but this photo has been leaked already (allegedly):

I really rate him but there are better 30 million rated midfielders in Europe.

There'll be 10-times as many posting on twitter about how good a signing it is.  Also how great a move it is for Lambert.

£10M is a good deal for both clubs imo.
