Typical Americans though, announcing it as the toughest in the world.  I know someone who's done this, and I think he'd disgaree:

Do they have stones thrown at them though?

Is that the Glasgow marathon?

It's the London Marathon next year...or are you chickening out?

True but Bolt won't Smiley

though whether he makes it depends on the judge...but in that case Gatso can take his place.

If he can find London and doesn't drive to Paris instead.

Just read the complete thread! Im currently out in Australia and training at the gym with my friend, i came out here really unfit after several failed gym memberships but now i am more dedicated and i am seeing a change in myself which helps. I weigh 140kg which is just over 22st and i would say i was pretty fit for my size. My PB for a 2 mile jog is 23.21 and im working upto doing a 10k in under 1 hour. I went from being totally out of breath after a short run to doing 20 minutes no stop and i built this up gradually by doing interval training. I Just thought i would share this with you guys and anybody who is training for a 10k 1/2 marathon or full marathon than good luck with your quest and training! Keep up the good work!

I did 8 miles yesterday.  It was hard work.  Very hot, I'm very unfit, and now my legs hurt very much.

Thanks for the support Boo.  Much appreciated.

I assume I can expect your contribution when I ask for sponsorship for the London Marathon?
