my dad and uncles used to tell me about that dog and i always thought they were exagerating but seeing that race is so sick, he makes westmead hawk look like a leader!

Had a good couple hours with them today. Rodney looking better and better - Cassie ending her season too. All is good. I am told Rodney has been given a couple of gallops - apparently went well and impressed, the only thing that bothered Mick (trainer) was that he thought he was gonna lose his legs as Rodney always just runs directly for you, and even though you think he is going to stop - he just doesnt! I learnt the hard way a couple of times! Both dogs, barring any more problems, will be going to the schooling track next Sunday to get wound up! Watch the other dogs round and then hopefully the following week they will both be able to go round themselves. Exciting stuff and I will be there next week watching them go mad!

Here are some pics from today, Rodney seriously makes every dog in that kennel look small - he is not just tall but he is butch too, with muscles all over. He makes humans look small!
