Forget Sin City

Even Forget Children of Men (fine film, fantastic cinematography)

See Clive Owen in "Closer", then ignore the part of the screen he is on and watch Natalie Portman.

Come on give the man a break lol

He fits his part very well in sin city. All the characters are intentionally 2 dimensional and cliched, drawn from the original comic story.

He absolutely nails 2 dimensional, cliched characters.

PS Agree with tighty, Nathalie Portman is great. She's fit as a bacon sandwich and super talented too. Possibly her best performance was when she was very young in Leon, a quality film.

I know Bolt agrees with me for once  Cheesy,  Clive Owen is a walking talking plank of wood when acting.  I have still to decide who is worse, either himself or Jude Law in the movie he made about a Sky Captain ( not sure of the full title ).

Daniel Craig is our best actor right now.

When I saw this film I really enjoyed it. I thought Clive Owen nailed his part perfectly. Okay, the plot is pretty convoluted, but if you can suspend disbelief and all that jazz, it's actually quite a fun film.

daniel craig heading a list like-

anthony hopkins  ( A good actor )
michael caine     (  He can do one accent.  A wooden actor, even though the Italian Job is a great film )
ewan macgregor ( Grins too much, in Star Wars he was piss )
jim broadbent ( Dull )
daniel day lewis   ( I agree,  a really good actor )
pete postlethwaite (  His accent grates on my nerves, he was ok in Brassed Off )
ray winstone  ( Overrated . Always acts a thug )
ben kingsley ( He is remembered for one film.  Ok, he has been in many more, however he is best know for Gandhi )
gary oldman ( not bad , but out of every character in True Romance he was the weakest. His Dracula performance was average at best)
alan rickman  ( Excellent actor )

lol ,  I knew it wouldn't be complete agreement

What about Paul Bettany?  he is a brilliant actor.  He was great  in  'A Knights Tale' ,  the deleted scenes show his class as an actor
