Winstone for the pure rawness he can bring to the screen at the same time fitting in nicely recently in a couple of period dramas.
Hopkins for his ability to adjust from pure evil to the absolute gentleman.

he was born in london (lived in greenwich i think) He now has Irish citizenship. So he was born British, but is now Irish. Ireland had John Aldridge, we can have DDL.
