I think that this falls into the "monkeys and peanuts"scenario, plus a company car nowadays is not a benefit, it's a liability.

More companies should look into travel allowances rather than the PAYE employee forking out each month on a benefit in kind

The missus' company car, and unlimited diesel works out very well for us.  Definitely cheaper than the cost of outright purchasing or leasing the same car.  She's just got a new Honda Civic diesel.  What a cracking car by the way.  Very good engine, quick with very low emissions.  But yes, many people are worse off with a company car and might be better with an allowance.

With your petrol, insurance and tax paid I think Its great to have a car that you don't have to worry about. You cant do much about the government and the tax position but we think the commission more than make up for that...only time will tell. Applications are still open this week

The sales executive should be able to provide excellent customer service at any given time (which may mean the occasional evening) and within a given geographic location.

Ideally we are looking for a poker enthusiast who plays the game and is willing to introduce the game to teams of prospective players within pubs, clubs and similar organisations. Our ideal candidate must be willing to work under their own initiative, be confident and preferably have a sales background. The person must also be able to compile reports and feedback a situation analysis report at any given time to . There will be targets set so they must be results driven and of a mind to exceed expectations. They must be fully computer literate and own a home computer with internet access. They must be willing to make at least 40 appointments a week and to build a client and prospect list.

Hours
Monday – Friday – 10am to 5pm, plus evenings where necessary. The total number of hours per week should be no less than 40.

40 appointments in 40 hours + Excellent customer service? compile reports and feedback, whats the overtime pay like Smiley never done sales, is that no overtime?

The appointment target was purposely set at a high level as we want potential applicants to realise this is a full time job. Sales people will not be able to just work 20 hours a week and expect to keep their job. The target we are more concerned with is the number of new venues signed up each month as this dictates the financial viability of us continuing to employ a particular salesperson.

We have also created a further benefit that really eclipses everything else about the job. Successful applicants will be given the job title of "Business Development Executive." That title must be equivalent to at least an extra 2k a year. I would quite happily work for free if I could have that title.

On a serious note. Thanks to all the applicants that have applied so far and we are looking forward to meeting some of you.
