Day 4 of my 6 day workfest, & all is going reasonably well.
Have finished the Pre-Record, & now we do the Live Show.
Immediately after that, it's the 217 mile trek up to Blackpool, a few hours kip at the Big Blue Hotel, & a 10am Brekkie with Compo, & a
11am Call-Time for one of the most exciting day's filming I've done in ages. I've been researching for it all afternoon, & I'm all hyped up.
Have a nice Sunday. I will.
Odds on it involving a train anyone?

That's very kind of you, & if I may say so, quite unexpected. I don't really do the street-talk you specilise in, but I'll try harder.
Meh, tez, gogogo.
If it's poker-people talk you like, I've got a whole bunch of it from Blackpool, but it'll have to wait until later, as I'm PTP-ing tonight.
A game of "mythical Poker Top Trumps" was held in Blackpool, orchestrated by Lords Channing, Hanning Gradstad, & Paul Parker, & it was hilarious. But sadly, it's no names, or I'll get murdered.
But we had....
Top Solid player.
Top spewer.
Top nipper.
Top deluded.
Top Tosser.
Amazingly, 2 players featured in three of those lists.
While I have your attention - when you do Hand Analysis stuff, & you refer to player as being about "21/29", wtf does that mean?

Help please.
Listening to "Brain of Britain" on R4 today - surely the best quiz show ever - no frills, or silly bells & whistles, just a plain format, unchanged for 30 years or more, presided over by the genius that is Robert Robinson, surely the highest IQ-ist on Radio, with superb diction & command of the English Language unparallelled, he's right up there with Enoch Powell as a truly great orator.
Anyway, I heard this question, but missed the answer, as the 'phone rang.
Who said, when asked "What do you think of Wesrern Civilisation?", replied "I think it would be a very good idea"?
I need to read more about that man - that's the sort of "humour" I go for, & he sounds a very astute man.

Why no dealz?
When "deal talk" arises, I have a Rule - "ask the Chip Daddy, I'll go with the flow".
And Goodwin said "you ARE the Chip Leader". I was in total shock, & he caught me off-guard......
But I have no regrets. None at all.

Really? He'll go far. My knowledge of History sucks, I'm embarrassed to say.
Seems like he was a bright chap.
