By the way, imo, Miss Orpe has a peach of an arse.

Bruises easily?

Slightly furry to the touch?

Tastes good in yoghurt?

Something hard lodged in the middle?

When letting the tower know who they are the pilots describe themselves as  BA5048 heavy.

What does the heavy mean? I've never heard them say that they are light so wondered if it had any meaning?

"The ICAO standard is for any aircraft capable of taking off at a gross weight of 300,000 pounds or more to use the term "heavy" in radio communications while below 18,000 feet above sea level. In the US, the threshold for "heavy" is 255,001 pounds or more."

"The Boeing 757 has a maximum take off weight of 255,000 pounds so it fits in the "large" category in both US and ICAO definitions, but the highly efficient wing shape is thought to produce high wake turbulence for other aircraft so to improve safety they are also called "heavy.""

If Michelle Orpe reads this please accept my apologies for starting the rabble off.

To be fair it's your own fault for being a quality babe but there you go at least I've covered myself and removed all blame.

Ah so it's capable weight. That explains it.

I got confused because one them was using the same terminology but his plane was light on fuel and had hardly any passengers.

Thanks mate. Much appreciated.

As to the comments on my Sky Poker colleague, & good pal, Miss Orpe, I stick by my description. Ample. (OED, "ample -  generous or more than adequate in size, scope, or capacity").

This is from her own website (ooooh!), MichelleOrpe.com.

My fave pic of Michelle. (I just have a small collection of Michelle photos, certainly less than 400).

Just watch what you say about Orpey - she'll be "on thread" later this afternoon. She's currently at the Gym, to be followed by a visit to the Sauna. Best not to even think about it. She has her 36th birthday next week, by the way.

Meanwhile, my current Sky Poker wife, Rich Orford, (fml) is unwell, with tonsilitis, & yesterday had his first "sickie" day off work in 16 years. What a wimp.
