How's this, went to bed around 7am only to be awoken just before 11 by the sounds of a fast jet buzzing overhead on more than 1 occasion, i rush out onto the terrace to see the RedArrows doing a full display alone Brighton seafront! That#s one way to wake up.
Nearly shat myself as one of them was repositioning behind me and came over the top of my head about 100ft higher than little old me!
Enough rambling, back to bed.

I'll bring the train talk over here as you're ruining tighty's football diary with it
I didn't realise until a friend mentioned it the other day that the ebbsfleet-st pancra high speed line is now open
I know you hate ebbsfleet station and probably the trains as well but you've got to be impressed that you can now do gravesend to st pancras in 17 minutes

Que TK rant about how noone takes the time to appreciate the glory of the trains anymore.

I live in a different time-zone to you.
Anyway, I've been busy, schmoozing with your new bosses, on Saturday, Sunday, & today. In fact, I had dinner with Katie & Barry today. He is some sharp guy. Not exactly Harvard Business School, but common-sense, people skills & business acumen by the bucket-load. I'm incredibly impressed.

I think I first went to a Live NFL "ball-game" in about 1985, in San Francisco, & later, at the Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Ohau. (Hawaii).
The game was divided into quarters, 4 x 15 minutes.
Time was shown "counting down" on Electronic Clocks, all around the Stadium.
Time could not be added, but instead, when delay occurerd, for whatever reason - injury, time-wasting, whatever, they spaused the Clock. If anyone disputed the clock-pause, they could, there & then. Subsequently, the clock would re-start.
There were never arguments about added-time, & incorrect or unfair late goals were never scored. It was simply not possible.
How many years before Association Football gets round to that bit of common-sense?
There you go, a Football Post.

One more football Post.
Sir Alex referred yesterday to "having to live with noisy neighbours". He truly is the master of football-stylee psychological warfare.
