mincer     Noun. A homosexual male. From the S.E. mince, an affected manner of walking.
mincers    Noun. Eyes. From the Cockney rhyming slang 'mince pies'.

1.    mincers
Eyes. Abbreviation for mince pies; Cockney Rhyming Slang for eyes.
Use yer mincers.

2.    Mincers

Freakishly small feet, especially on a male.
"Look at the mincers on that dude!" or "Why can't you just get on your mincers and prance away from me."

So, Red's sources say one's "mincers" are one's eyes, yes?

Stand by your beds for incoming rebuttal from Ralph. Old peeps are like that, obdurate & stubborn.

It doesn't add up in my book I'm afraid.

Mince-pies have always been "minces" and blokes who walk funny have always been ""mincers" and the two should not be confused for obvious reasons.

I used to play snooker with a guy in Nottingham years ago and he would refer to the pink ball as the "pen and ink" which used to drive me potty. I told him over and over again that "pen and ink" was CRS for stink and that the "kitchen" as in "kitchen sink" was the correct term for the pink ball.

I must have told him fifty times if I told him once but he was old and stubborn and would not accept it.

In the end I realised that he was just calling it the "pen and ink" to wind me up. I still won the money mind you.

Objection over-ruled, result stands. Karabiner will be stood down for 3 days for careless writing.

A blonde friend - thank you, Mr F - sent me this.

It occurred, I think, 2 days ago, & yet despite being an avid newspaper reader & TV News watcher, I had somehow missed it. Perhaps it never got much coverage, perhaps I just missed it.

Had it been in the UK, there would have been immense coverage, but it was the other side of the world, so I guess it's deemed to be not newsworthy. Just imagine if this happened in Birmingham, or Henley-on-thames, or Liverpool.

You've probably not heard much about this either, but for very different reasons.

Yes I knew about this one, for all the wrong reasons - the superinjunction had the opposite effect to that desired.

Again, imagine it was Brighton, instead of Cote d'Ivoire, & folks in Hove, Hickstead & Worthing were dying from the after-effects, what a hoohah there would have been.

I really must take a break, to re-charge my batteries, I semi-tired all the time.

When I was on the diet, I sprung out of bed at 6am every morning, full of zing & zest, but now I struggle to get up before 9am, & everythings an effort. I'm piling weight back on, & don't feel as good physically or mentally. It seems to be uphill every day, but it's all self-inflicted.

I'm increasingly convinced that eating decent food & getting enough sleep made me feel so much better in the first 6 months of 2010, & yet, here I am, not doing either, feeling shite, & not quite being able to find the umptz to do anything about it.

Why not go back to the diet then? Is it that difficult to switch back?
