Have driven the fat end of 1,000 miles in the last few days, but it's no problem when TMS is on, it's a great travelling companion.

I rarely "take" to new Summarisers or Commentators on TMS, though Aggers was an exception.

Tuffers was NOT an exception, & I really disliked his laconic style & lazy dialogue for a good few years, but I'm up to speed with him now, & he's right up there with Boycs.

Tuffers was giving forth yesterday during the wonderful rain delays (wonderful for TMS listeners) about slow left arm spinners, & related a tale about the retired slow left arm spinner who got hoiked over cow corner unceremoniously, & so decided to put his proper match head on, & give the pesky batsman something to think about.

Sadly, it was not to be, & the next ball turned out to be - get this for made up wordage that works - a floppitty doppity ball.

Awesome, describes it perfectly.

You are NOT funny Andrew.

Greeky described it as a car crash.....head on.......where I collided with myself.

Harsh, but fair, imo.

FFS.

Woke up 5 mins after it started, 11 (ELEVEN) Text messages, Ben Boonicon was Button to my BB & at it, Greeky was sandwiched between us & picking up the orphan pots, so I eventually made a stand, & got a few airballs through, but then I had that car crash........I had outs, though not when I jammed. They rarely pass a set of Queens.

Jeez, it was SO bad......
