There are so many UK people here it's like playing at a combo of DTD and the Vic. Walked straight into Ben Vinson in the corridor yesterday both on our phones. Sat down on the left of a vic cash game reg in the Wynn, it's absolute madness cant wait for Vinny, Coxy, Scotty, Sim etc !!!!

Yup, Rio from tomorrow until July 16th.

I know folks knock it, as the Rooms are a bit dated, but I just sleep, **** & shower in it, & I need to stay at the Rio for the 2nd fortnight, too, for work purposes, can't be arsed with taxi queues in 40c heat at 2am after an 18 hour shift.

Arrive tomorrow on the Virgin flight, due in 2.10pm Local. Gonna leave Vinni, Dean & Gav at the Airport, get me a limo to The Rio, & be playing the Caesars 4pm Turbo, &/or the Rio 6pm Deepie, or the 7pm Venetian.

Where you playing tomorrow, & mainly?

So many Brits there, or on the way, even Sky Poker have a shed-load due.

You & Lol-Raise there already, Redmond been there weeks, me tomorrow, Scotty & Thewy Monday 27th I think, Hursty, Nick Pryce & Ben July 4th, & the rest of the VLV Qualifiers July 5th, gonna be immense fun.

Evidently, yes.......

The higher stake cash games on Sky Poker (all things are relative, of course....), the £5-£10 & £10-£20 Tables have broken the site records the last few weeks, never been so much action at those Levels before, bit surprising to see so much at this time of year, to be honest. Guess Reds wants his share of the action. He's played a couple of WSOP Events, but not much else in Vegas so far, apart from cash games, afaik.

Theres something to be said for waking up 10 mins before the event starts and getting down there in time.


Am staying in the Rio with Lolraise and two other mates. Mainly busting wsop events during day 1 pre antes and then playing cash at the wynn!

Haven't made it elsewhere yet am too scared incase I get burnt to death in the 1 second before I get in the cab.

Will to some touristy things at some point im sure.
