Too cryptic by half for me, Mr Channing Sir. Can you expand upon it, please?

Oh, & one S Razavi will be the Studio Guest on Sunday of next week on Ch 865. I'm gonna challenge him to some heads up poker. Any advice?

hmm..  #mypleasuretoreadall1599pages

Your cat (Angell), is she still with you? (from 1st page)

Ingi

Absolutely.

You would not be aware (long & boring story) but I don't live at home at present, but Angell still does. I went home & saw him today, (& paid the cat-sitter x hundred quid, sigh) & he's in great shape. I still see him as my baby kitten, but on reflection, he must be 10 or 12 years old now. I will be geting a sort of second home next month, in London, so he'll be able to live with me again.

He's an "outside" cat, & manages fine without company.

I also had another one, "Charlie", a Tabby, but I had to have her put to sleep, as she became very unwell whilst I was over in Monte Carlo in 2004, I think. I rushed home, & snap had her put to sleep. She was about 18. She was a typical tabby, very strong character, & wanted nobody EXCEPT on her on terms. She liked to snuggle up, but did not like being touched. Most odd, but endearingly lovely, & I still miss her very much.

Just back from Vegas today.  Took a few hours to catch up with Tom's diary but had yours done in 30 minutes.  Slacker.

Loaded over 300 photos from the trip to my facebook and the following comment was posted regarding one of them...

"Wow, Tikay took Movember seriously this year!"

True, but I don't allow all that girlie poetry on mine. And I filled his with fascinating concrete stuff.

The dreaded Xmas season gets ever nearer, and I'm reminded of it by the minute, hour, & day.

Soon, all the TV Shows will have one of those bloody schmaltzy Xmas trees in shot, sigh, & all the Shops already have "So this is Christmas" blaring away. Ugh.

But I spotted this on a Facebook page somewhere, & somehow it tickled me. This is NOT an admission that I enjoy Xmas though, so don't start.

HOW TO COOK A TURKEY:
First, buy the turkey and a bottle of whiskey. Pour yourself a glass of whiskey and put the turkey in the oven. Take another 2 drinks of whiskey, and set the degree at 375 ovens. Have 3 more whiskeys of drink and turn the oven on. Take 4 whisks of drinky and turk the bastey. Stick a turkey in the thermometer, and glass yourself a pour of whiskey. Bake the whiskey for 4 hours, take the oven out of the turkey, and floor the turkey up off the pick. Pour yourself another glass of turkey. Now just tet the sable, and turk the carvey

There will be NO MORE celebrations of Xmas on this Diary, please. I hope I make myself quite clear.

Spent most of yesterday driving, went home to Derbyshire & then back to London, so, about 6 hours on the road.

Had the wireless on for the most parrt, listening to repeated references to the current "recession", & how tough Xmas will be for everyone. Dropped into Fosse Park Shopping Centre, in Leicester, to get some bits & bobs, & there was not a single vacant parking space. Fosse Park has 2,500 Parking Spaces....

Eventually found a space, after an hour of circling, & the shops were abso heaving. In M & S the queue to pay @ each paydesk must have been 50 or more, & that was with 6 Tills open @ each paydesk.

Blew £400 on nothing, too, in M & S, River Island, & some other clotherie.

I've always preferred to use Fosse Park Shopping Centre, I was involved in it's Construction back in the early eighties, & it's well convenient, being smack on J21 of the M1, in Leicester.

I just had a look at it's Wiki page, & was shocked to see how much money had been made on the Site in such a short time.

How about this for good business?

London & Edinburgh Trust opened Fosse Park in 1989, the 265,000 sq ft (24,600 m2) development contained 12 retail warehouses, including Marks & Spencer as an anchor store.[2] In 1996 Castlemore Securities bought an adjacent factory from the shoe manufacturer and retailer, the Oliver Group, for £25m and obtained a restricted planning consent for Fosse Park South.

In 1997 Pillar Property bought Fosse Park South for £52.5m from Castlemore and the original Fosse Park from SPP (the Swedish pension fund that owns LET) for £60m, thus uniting both halves of the park to create a 416,536 sq ft (38,697.5 m2) investment valued at £205m a year later. In 2004 Pillar attempted to sell Fosse Park, but withdrew when its £320m valuation was not achieved. In 2005 Reit Asset Management bought Fosse Park for £308m, while Pillar's had valued it at £350m. In 2006 Irish investors bought Fosse Park for £360m before placing it on the market once again in 2010

Even more eye-watering, look at this!

When opened in 1989, Fosse Park commanded an average rent of £11/sq ft. As of 2010[update]. this has risen to £105/sq ft, higher than any other retail park in the UK

The recession bites ever harder. Apparently.
