I'll deal with Tom, & his attempt to lower the tone later.
He had to trawl back SEVEN years to find one quote!
Jeez, 7 years on blonde.......

Note
"The accident aircraft was a Boeing 737-200, registration AP-BKD. The aircraft had been purchased from Shaheen Airlines, which had retired it as unairworthy."

Off to DTD now to have some fun poker. If there is any justice in the poker world, Red will be on my table, & I'll bust his fat arse. Nothing personal, mind.

I did a search for posts by tikay containing the word 'tits'.
It returned so many results it almost crashed my computer. I just picked a couple at random.
I could search for other words, but I'm scared.....

Seriously ? They purchased a plane deemed unairworthy? Is that allowed..do they not have to proove it's ok to fly? Yikes !

I flew to Bulgaria in the early 90s on a Balkan Airlines Tupolev TU-154. I believe they used to get ex-Aeroflot planes, and can thoroughly believe it given the rickety thing we were in. On the way back as we took off all the light fittings in the aisle next to where we were sitting fell down, which was slightly worrying.

Yo Gramps, I thought that this may be of interest to you, I know it's not in-line with the trend of your diary these days but here you go...

Vegas trip - BOOKED
Flight - BOOKED
Hotel - BOOKED
Media Pass - RECEIVED
ESTA - SORTED
Outbound - SUNDAY 17th JUNE
Homebound - FRIDAY 13th JULY
17th June to 2nd July inclusive, playing.
3rd July - 13th July - working.
Can't wait, counting the sleeps.
Just got to decide what to play, now.
It is between....
Daily Venetian &/or Caesars Deepies. Nice Tourneys, but all, or mostly, NLH.
Shop around for Omaha & mixed game Tourneys. There are a few, mostly quite small, but thats OK.
Play a few WSOP Omaha &/or 8 or better Tourneys. Very tempting, but at a few thousand $$$'s a throw, slightly worrying, I could easily drop $10k quickly.
Play more Omaha & 8 or better cash. Tempting, too. I made good money at these last year, but found table selection crucial.
Likely to take around $10,000 or so, seems a bit daft to take more, as it is so easy to let it slip through the fingers in Vegas, & I don't want to be sulking for the next 3 months at being daft with money if I lose it.
Decisions, decisions.
The work period will be good, too. We expect to take 8 or 10 players with us, with 2 of us to host them, so that's a comfortable ratio.
Plan to do more Interviews to camera, for You Tube this year - we got vey good "clicks" for these last year - &, as usual, daily blogs, which also get excellent clicks, & these got more daily hits the longer I did them. They are almost spam free, which helps, too. I have done a few pieces for the poker print media already, & these include puff for the videos & blogs, so I'm hopeful for good numbers. It's these things which help justify the cost of sending me there, so they are very important.
Once again, the costs of the trip - poker excepted - are being paid for by next door, which is an amazing thing. I don't plan to let them down though, & will give them good value.
I'm excited! Don't think that's supposed to happen at my age.

Whatever they're showing at Bally's looks interesting.
Sorry for being unoriginal and transparent
Presumably that is Jubilee, the corniest show on the strip. Every ostrich in Africa must have been denuded to make the costumes. One of the Acts is a music and dance number based on the sinking of the Titanic...........

Wow, so it's an educational history based entertainments show. Last time in Vegas I was dragged to watch Celine Dion so I swear to god corny naked emu girls sounds more than appealing.
