Des - no, I don't recall seeing the piece on RM, is it still on their site, or can you send me a link, please?
As to RF, absolutely, different class, my admiration for him & his work is immense. He has built that business from nothing to a "Top 5" in the UK in a few short years, & the margin graph is getting ever steeper. He is destined for great things, he really is.
He does MBWA, too, which I think is the best form of Management. The business seems to be the gaming equivelast of Ryanair, everybody claims to dislike it, but so many people use it, more & more of them, & the profit growth is astonishing. I got incredibly lucky to find a slot there when I did, what a ride!
In business, better to be successful than popular, & all that, but RF seems liked & respected by all who work for him.

Ahh, an "I told you so" merchant. Guessed one would come along soon enough......
Seriously, do you really think that 2 hours (spread over three different 40 minute spells) in 22c needs sunscreen?
Guess I just have beautifully delicate skin & features.
For skin that sees daylight so rarely, yes.

Actually, I think it's more a case of some people being unable to think for themselves, & just following the herd, completely devoid of original thought. Ever seen the brain-deads who summon up their entire cerebal powers to describe opposing football teams as "
scum
"? Well done boys, staggering stuff.
If that's the best they can manage, I despair despairingly.
Whereas I never fail to be amazed at the sheer creativity of football crowds & the songs & chants they invent. PC not bloody likely -
but there's some great work going on & some very funny stuff.
And some seriously vile stuff too tbh

But not as much as the non-supporters would have you believe IMO.

Oh yes yes yes, there is, some great stuff, I marvel at how 30,000 football fans can spontaneously start singing some ditty with bitingly clever words. Remember the Shilton episode? I'm quite sure the Glasgow boys (boys not bhoys, you note...) are well capable of some ingeniously clever stuff. That, I love.
But that does not mean all, or even most of them, are capable of original thought. How many times have you heard a football supporter describe the "rival" locals as "scum"? I mean, surely they could try a little harder than that?
Another that "amuses" me is when some spotty kid on the internet sees something he does not like. DTD''s customer service, the Full Tilt affair, Sky Poker, whatever. "
Joke
" they trot out, time after time. Is that really the best they can manage? Do they honestly believe that anyone with half a brain will take a blind bit of notice of someone who can't manage better than
"joke
"?

Sometimes it's easier just to use a basic pejorative, although I once heard a guy berate Rangers fora full minute without repeating himself.
One of my favourite non-Celtic ones was the Liverpool fans song about Djimi Traore - capacble of a bit of brilliance one second
this bit may not be true
, then like bambi on ice for the rest of the match:
To the tune of 'Don't blame it on the Sunshine'....
"Dont blame it on Hamann
Dont blame it on Biscan
Dont blame it on Finnan.
Blame it on Traore!
He just cant,he just cant, he just cant control his feet!"

I don't exactly do nothing ,I just don't do the heavy manual work I used to I let the guys go now,n run the business ,instead of doing both
That's just getting smart! It comes with age, you know, or some say it does......
I was away 3 days in total last week, slightly less in fact, flew out early Monday, flew back late Wednesday. Much as I loved every moment, I could not wait to come home, was at the airport three hours early for the homebound flight, got home at Midnight, and was at my desk 5am Thursday, happily attacking the backlog. Then things all went badly wrong, and
I had my first "sick day" off work in 50 years on Friday
, I was devastated!
What???
WTF is this pls?? I dont wanna scroll through 15 pages of bikes and buildings to find you probs didnt mention it in the first place...
I'm pretty sure I told you to do a maintenance check not so long ago.. pretty sure uncle Reds agreed...
Also pretty sure you are losing too much weight!! And dont try to fob off with deli-belly cause this old store aint buying!!!
Explain 'badly wrong' thanks muchly..
xx
Morning Irene.
Weight loss. Your concern is much appreciated, & well-intended, thank you, but we need to be realistic as to "losing too much weight", & you sound a little like my old granny used to. She was the one who told me "never take a bath after eating a banana, you will drown". Yes yes, quite so Gran.
I've lost 2st 2lbs, but still weigh 11st 12lbs. I would place a wager that more than half the world's population weigh less than 10 stone, & get by just fine. If we exclude the mostly obese Americans, the bet would be nailed on. My weight loss if fine, my health is fine, & my energy levels are high, but thank you.
Last week's little ailment was a peculiar thing, caused by exposure to the sun. Not sunburn, just an allergic reaction.
I spent no more than 2 hours (in three seperate periods) in the sun on the beach in Nice on Wednesday, where the temperature was around 22c. (Vegas is nearly double that in June & July). I came home to London on Wednesday evening & was fine.
On Thursday morning my left eye swoll (swelled?) up badly, see dreadful mug shot below, & by Thursday night both eyes were totally closed, my entire head had swollen grotesquely, I could not see a thing, & I was being described as "tomato head". Not, I confess, for the first time. It remained like that all Friday, (hence the days sickie), but was almost completely back to normal by Saturday morning. I still have some residual swelling & puffiness, but I'm hopeful my good looks have not been impaired unduly. And no, I never went to a quack, or the hossie. The medicinal power of positive thought is immense.

Bad luck Tikay - usually the phrase 'I stuck it in his eye' is metaphorical.

I doubt that's anything to do with being out in the sun a bit - looks like an allergic reaction to something

Can happen, but yeah - some anti-histamines would be a good idea!

Had you changed or had any pain killers lately? I mean before the face swelling, I've known a few people that would happen to minutes after taking aspirin.
Slight digression but someone commented on one of my youtube music videos so I went and looked at who is was and it's some guy called Tony and this is his video collection...
