Nice photos tikay ,what you doing in a cafe ! Is that the end of the diet ?
You jest Tony! I'm seriously obsessive, a diet is a diet, we don't do "rest days" & that sort of stuff, or have a break whilst on jollies! I just wait until target date, then eat like an idiot. I know, it's as dumb as dumb can be.
It's quite tough to diet whilst away, but I managed to keep the calorie intake below 1,000 per day whilst I was there. Spag Bol is not the worst meal when dieting, if you ignore the spag.
You have reminded me now, did the Daily Weigh-in today. Very pleased indeed, especially as it was so awkward last week, whst with going away.

Yup, great photo. Not.
Clue - he was probably in the area in readiness for the Cannes Film Festival, & his blonde partner is sat opposite him.

Here is a quick story about the man every seems to hate at the mo,mr Cris Fergason. When i was in tunica about 05 or 06 there was a camera crew flowing the guy around in a big stetsun,Ferguson and i did not know who he was at the time and a couple askd me to take a photo on their camera of them and him,i did so and when i went up to him afterwards i shook his hand and said to his face ,sorry but who are you?To which he just walked of and said under his breath you c####t.
So you could have asked the camera crew, you could have asked the couple, you could have asked any number of the other poker players there who knew who he was.....instead you went up to the guy and asked 'who are you?' hard to understand why he took an instant disliking

Thanks Mr D.
Agree as to Monte Carlo, it really is splendid, so small, so vibrant, and such a lovely climate. I enjoyed every minute.
I went many times whilst pokering, and twice as a guest of Mr K, on his yacht, but I never looked at the place properly, you know how it is when immersed in poker, as I was then, you sort of don't take much notice of all the wonderful places you visit. So I am on catch-up now.
Was based in Nice, that's very pleasant too. Whisper it quietly, but the Nice photos are still to come.....

Just a bit. I struggle to relax, I have to be doing something all the time, every waking minute, but I managed to settle down and have a little rest last week, away from all the Facebook haters, trolls and sickos.
We live in a very odd world, but the trick is to just enjoy every single minute of life.

Very nice photos Tikay, bit of a rub since nobody has any money any more now that SCOOP is over but still nice to look at
Shaun Deeb is not complaining, I gather.
SCOOP no good for you, then?
Unfortunately not but definitely going to Vegas now so the disappointment has dutifully dissipated
When do you arrive in Vegas? Definitely need to get a Blonde team breakfast in at some point!
I arrive in Vegas June 17th - the Sunday afternoon.
If that is a brekkie invite, I'd love that, lets do it, thank you.
Had Brekkie there last year with Lil Dave, Dom, & some lurker fanboy in a football shirt. Really enjoyable, I'm "awkward" with Dinner as a social convention, but brekkie suits me perfectly. Rather odd, but pleasingly so, to eat "with the kids", I feel an imposter here sometimes, like the miserable old sod who gatecrashes the kids bedroom like a wet blanket, but I really enjoyed chilling with Dave & Co last year, & they made me feel comfortable, if that makes sense.

Yes breakfast will definitely happen - I agree that Vegas is the perfect place for a chilled out breakfast. Perfect preparation for the rat race at the Rio or wherever else you're playing that time of year.
Nothing like the prospect of the best eggs benedict in the world at Cafe Bellagio to get you out of bed.

Nice is so nice as well, one of my favourite days from last year was driving from Nice to MC along the coastal roads rather than the motorway. If you are into cars it was a great thrill to be cruising along the Promenade des Anglais then dive into the hills all the way to MC like a scene out of a Bond film an AM and a Ferrari tearing through tunnels and around hairpins

The Hotel was on the Promenade des Anglais, just perfect, wander across to the beach, where there was a grand beach cafe, served great latte. Sat there, latte, nice cigar, reading a real page-turner of a book, with the aeroplanes right above, on final approach to Nice Airport, the I-pod fired up and logged in to "FlightRadar24". Dont get better than that.

Doing nothing would be my worst nightmare! I tried it, I retired from work and spent a month or two doing nothing. Not my cup of tea, I'm afraid, though I do wish I could manage better life balance, and switch off sometimes.
Don't get me wrong, whatever floats your boat, and I'm glad you are in a nice place now. I am, for sure, never been more content with everything.
We are all different, thank God.
