Weird Al Yankovic has been doing utterly brilliant parodies for years. He must have a dozen or more albums of them.
He often parodies the video if it is famous enough. Take, for example, one of my favourite songs (and videos) of all time:
And here is Weird Al's parody,
Eat It.
The moment the guy in the bar pulls the girl's head back is a Leslie Nielsenesque moment of brilliance, as is the nod to Eddie van Halen's epic guitar solo.

Tikay, did you like XTC back in the day? Andy Partridge was one of the great songwriters imo

I like choosing Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm as a song question in games of hangman. Its quite high variance.
Eh? How that work?
What question(s) do you ask?
No just traditional hangman, you usually specify a theme like song or movie, then they have a set number of letters where it's basically pot luck they pick M after the vowels run out.

Sadly not, I never enjoyed any New Wave stuff, I was still hanging on the the glory days of Sixties music, Beatles & the like.
Besides, they were from Swindon.

Crash Test Dummies.
The lead singer, Brad Roberts, had a very odd voice. He had a bad car accident
Irony too obvious to mention?

This is all new to me.
Please tell me he did House of Pain, Jump Around?
Pack it up, pack it in
Let me begin
I came to win
Battle me, that's a sin
I won't ever slack up
Punk you better back up
Try and play the role and yo the whole crew will act up
Get up, stand up [come on!]
Come on, throw your hands up
If you've got the feeling
Jump up touch the ceiling
I'm the cream of the crop, I rise to the top
Jump jump jump ju.......

I think you'll find the best lyric from that song is "I'll serve your ass like John McEnroe"

Some of Weird Al's parodies are a little looser and just parody the style, but this is arguably his Meisterwerk:
Start with the original:
...and now
Amish Paradise
Jebediah feeds the chickens and Jacob ploughs...FOOL!
