Vegas Investors Update

Think we are almost there now.

The Non-Main Event package is as detailed a few days ago.....

June 14th. 4pm, VENETIAN, PLO8, $600

June 15th, 2pm, BINIONS, PLO8, $200.

June 16th, Noon, GOLDEN NUGGET, PLO8, $230

June 17th, Noon, RIO, WSOP PLO8, $1,500

June 18th, Noon (?), Caesars Palace, PLO8, $240

June 19th, Noon, GOLDEN NUGGET, PLO, $230 OR RIA, PLO, $340

June 20th, 2pm, BINIONS, PLO, $300

June 21st, Noon (?), CAESARS PALACE, 6 Max PLO, $240

June 23rd, 2pm, BINIONS, PLO8, $200

June 24th, 4pm, VENETIAN, Big O, 5 card PLO8, $1,100

June 26th, Noon, CAESARS PALACE, PLO8, $240

June 28th, 4pm, Venetian, PLO8, $1,100

June 29th, 2pm, BINIONS, PLO8, $200

July 3rd, Noon, CAESARS PALACE, PLO8, $240

I suggested 3 different options, but as far as I can see, everyone has opted for Option 3, which is x% (varies) of $7,000. If I have misunderstood, please let me know.

So, as I understand it, this is the Team. I am awaiting final confirmation from 2 folks on this list, but I only just asked them, so may be a day or so yet.

Ralph 5%

Aaron (Machka) 5%

Mere 5%

Welsh Bloke 5%.

Liverpool fan 2%.

sharplea, 2%

Knottikay, 1%

Trip5 - 1%

Supernova 1%

Now for the bad news - I shall be sending you Bank Details for Payment shortly. ;(

Doobs, has "only" taken action in 3 specific Tournaments, details seperately.

He has....

20% of the $1,500 WSOP PLO8 on June 17th.

10% of the Venetian Big O on June 24th.

10% of the Venetian PLO8 on June 28th.

Doobs payment is by Offset.

Looks awesome schedule. green with envy to say the least,

Please change your signature immediately. I'd forgotten about the question I'd forgotten, & now you've reminded me again. This irritates me.

I can barely believe we had a 1 hour telephone conversation yesterday, & I forgot to raise this matter, too.

Perhaps the conversation opener put me off.

Hi Tom, you got a minute to chat?

Yes, go ahead, I'm in the middle of having a piss (impressive sound effects, too)

I've got a great image of Red Dog being in a radio 4 studio with all the sound effects from off of the Archers.

"Hello, Tony. Yes, I'm just having a piss. I am just off for a horse ride but it's a bit thundery out here..."

Oh come on Tony, I've already given you 3 excellent clues. You're not really trying.

OK. Here's your clue, but you really will have to think outside the box to understand it.

"3.14159265358979323846264338327950"

Is the number of digits relevant?

Would that make this a process of elimination?

Forecast for this week in Las Vegas suggests it could be 40+.

Would suggest you encourage Jeeves to pack your boater, panama and other appropriate head attire.

Perhaps a new fedora for the Ratpack look?

I could see myself in that, think I'd look rather fetching.

Yes, you see I don't have a hat head, but I reckon you do.

SPT Birmingham went rather well, but jeez I was wrecked when it ended.

Our previous SPT, in Dublin, was "alcohol-free", whereas this one, the alcohol flowed freely.

The difference this made to the general atmosphere & ambience was like chalk & cheese.

Anyway, many congrats to the winner, a recently joined blonde with the alias of "jac", real name Paul Jackson. He is a regular in DTD & the Derby cardrooms, and a genuinely lovely fella.

As always, I got lost - even with a sat-Nav - trying to find The Broadway Casino, & I ended up in Broad Street, where I spotted this monstrosity.

"Different" is to be applauded in architecture, but cripes, what WERE they thinking? Some nice fair-faced concrete would have been far better, to my eyes anyway.

I actually thought it was a Mercedes Showroom when I saw it.

Some googling revealed it is The Central Library of Birmingham.

Good grief.
