Catch up on PM replies, sorry, I am wayyyyy behind with them.

Mehtab

Did you know that when Channing won his WSOP bracelet, he had hundreds of "good luck" messages whilst playing the Final, via various platforms - FB, Twitter, here, BBP, PM's, all sorts, & after it was all over, he replied to EVERY SINGLE ONE. Proper Pro, him.

Excellent rubs in the last paragraph.  WP

Rubs aside, must also thank Channing for all his help yesterday. Marked my card, with incredible accuracy, on every Table I played.

There was one guy, on one Table, and Channing told me EXACTLY what hand he would play. And nailed it......

Echo this, he marked my table pretty well too.

Just caught up with this.  Massive well done sir from me and the boy who would post himself but is in Somerset attending a music festival of sorts. As I think I said before your enthusiasm just flows through the screen and is quite enchanting. Quite a role model for the more serious and often half empty crowd. Enjoy the rest of the trip and how fantastic to be able to reward all the backers.

Would have played the Nugget with you today, but my head's a little frazzled still from the 8-game yesterday. Was delighted to finish mid-table, as I know I played some hands pretty poorly. My propensity for bluffing in 2-7 triple draw was not helpful. Made a few chips in Razz and NLHE primarily, but had a couple of good players on the table and that made things difficult.

If I feel tired after a few hours of 8 game, goodness knows how you're feeling today. VBOL as ever.

Try eating more sticky buns.

I've been concentrating on plain croissants, so it's likely an area of my game I need to consider.

Vwp Tikay. You're a great ambassador for UK poker...in my opinion what sets you aside is your passion for encouraging people to enjoy the game for what it is. Too many take the game and oft themselves far too seriously. Good luck for the rest of your schedule!

If its Binions you will likely get Sam Grizzle playing there Smiley (hes quite funny to!), only problem is small fields.

Doubt Sam will be there, but it matters not, "fun poker" is my kick, & at a mere $125, it is corking value.

The $125 PLO8 it is.

Plenty of fun-equity in a $125 PLO8 tournament I'd imagine.

How many runners did it get?

Hopefully we have another sweat as you've spoiled us rotten.

I went down to see Tikay and he was ticking along nicely with 45 left a few hours ago.

Not sure of exact number of runners, but $2k up top so a nice enough return for your money.

73 Ralph, not so bad really.

Have not played my best today, bit of loose play and poor pre-flop discipline, so I have had to give myself a good talking to.

There are 24 left, and we are sort of mid table mediocrity. It would be the greatest thing ever to cash in 5 tourneys on the bounce, and I shall bust a gut so to do, but I have probably used up a years worth of luck already this week, so I am not confident.

We shall see, but we deffo have another deep run on our hands.

Big tourney tomorrow, at Venetian, on the stake, so need to get my head properly in gear for that.

Such a shame you were not able to come over this year, you'd have had a ball Downtown, they have some fabulous little tourneys, and the atmo in all of them is superb.

Just one guy got a bit arsey today, because the Dealer made a mistake, and he never stopped bellyaching about it, and eventually, after refusing to let it drop, he got ejected, and quite right too, for calling the Dealer a "moron".

If a mistake or two by the Dealer spoils your day, or even upsets you, you need to get out more imo.

Fun day, that apart. Marky popped in, feeling a bit better today I think. Poor lad spends half his life running around trying to help others, who don't always appreciate it from what I can see. One of life's heroes, he really is.
