Great to follow someone live at the wsop. Interesting to see how structure of tournament progresses with low blinds and 1hr levels.

Structure is lovely, but we go back at 50-100, so 35 bigs, so can't really hang around, and by the next break will need to have made some progress or it will soon be spin time. Am ok with that, as long as my old problem of bottle failure does not resurface.

Anyone else got that Jack Ury clip in their head? Norman Chad saying "Some punk ass kid half my age..." about a bloke in his forties.
Do wins, sir.
Good luck,

We are back, off we go.
Been chatting with John Duthie and Barny Boatman in the break, both agreed that the next 2 levels are make or break time.
Really helps me to be chatting with you guys, but I think I ought to put the I-pad away and focus properly now, this is a big tourney for me, and I want to give my best.
Will report any doubleage or outage.

Bad level, played one hand I think, had no material at all.
Still stuck on 3,600, so not a disaster, but it is only 24 Bigs.
Won't be many more entries, as they would only get 20 bigs even if they entered right now.
Amazingly, of the 1,065 entries, only 624 remain, probably under 600 as the plasma is usually behind.
Fast schmast.

You are used to grind 10bb stacks or less so you will soon be in your comfort zone.

Level 4 complete, never found a single playable hand. Maybe I need a bit more flair and imagination, but had nothing at all I felt I could get it in with, or even take a flop. Any 3 card rundown would do, but it has been spanner city.
We return for Level 5 @ 100-200, and I have just 13 Bigs. They'll go in soon, light if need be.
1,089 runners, of which just 464 remain.
Here we go.......

Found me a spin spot at last.
Limper in front of me, I make it 900 with the drawtastic.....
Unfortunately, I get accommodated by.....
It's all about timing.
Still, the flop was quite pleasing.
No further dramas on flop and turn, and we double up.

......and then bust the very next hand with A-K-K-10 ccdd.
Got looked up pre flop, not unreasonably, by Q-J-10-9.
Flop was perfect for him, J-9-x, we got it in, and he hit his straight on the turn, and again, for good measure, on the river too.
Think there are about 360 left. Which excludes moi.
