Thanks Rob. Hope you are feeling better now. At least, if you can't be here, you can still have some vicarious vouyerism.

Level 4 complete, was largely in the Doldrums until a fair wind blew up and I took a nice three quarter pot near the end.

27,000 at 200-400, no dramas, no excitement, just tacking along quietly.

Amongst those playing are Leif Force, and none other than Superman.

Send 'em across Dealer, send 'em across.

Level 5 complete, our first negative level of the day, after we got involved in an awkward spot which became messy when Mr Shortie shoved, and the dry side handcuffed me. They chopped, I was Mr Wallflower.

21,900 @ 250-500.

Level 6 complete, dinner break.

Things got a bit hectic that level, after 5 levels of inaction it all got busy.

Got quartered twice and sunk to 12,000, which was a bit of a bugger, but then felt I had to open up a bit and it went ok.

Found a lovely spot, very similar to my exit hand yesterday, and we got it in on the flop.

I had.....

We saw this flop.....

 two hearts

My man bet into me, so I took off and he came along.

Another 8 turned, which was a decent card to give me the high and a beautiful   rivered, scoopio. About time I hit one of those beauties.

30,000 (from 15,000) returning at 300-600, 91 of 151 remain.

Only 2 hotshots at the table, and they are building big pots, but no need to tangle until we find the right ammo.

Bumped into Paul Jackson at the break, so at least I was spared another bout of endless bad beat stories.

He is here with 5 players from Bankroll Supply, think they are here for another week. Couple of them seem to be doing ok, one took down the middle Rio deepie yesterday.

His daughter is getting along nicely now, which was good to hear, after her dreadful accident 2 years ago.

Level 8 complete.

Half the day complete.

Half the field gone busto.

Double starting stack, so exactly average.

All very symmetrical.

Blinds now go 400-800, I have 30,200.

The table has got well aggro, no small pots any more. Bullets will need to be bitten eventually.

Live poker is so much fun, love the feel of chips, the "snap snap snap" of cards, real people.

Really enjoyed today. So far.

Level 8 complete.

Regressed that level, got into some bad spots that failed to develop as hoped, so we go into Level 9 (500-1,000) with just 20 Bigs.

Been comfy all day, suddenly I need to man the pumps.

56 of 151 remain.

Table comprises 2 hotshots, 3 really old blokes, and 2 missogs.*

* Have not included myself, clearly.

Level 9 complete, third break of the day, as midnight passes.

Stepped on the gas that level and made some progress, but am still behind the count.

45 of 151 remain, 36,000, going 600 -1,200 upon resumption.

This is Day 1b, 16 survived Day 1a with an average of around 100,000.

4 levels remain today, so will need to get busy at some stage if we want to progress to Day 2 with a meaningful stack.
