5 hands remain today.
26 left.
Done a few chips, but only a surface wound considering my stack. 😎

Err, Yes. And this.
I was doing that, softer heels/ Clarks etc, eased it but no solution. Then we had a Jones Bootmaker open up in town and bought a couple of pairs of "well made" shoes, £150+ jobs. After a few days, including the inserts, was miles better. I honestly don't know why, assumed it was better made shoes, because when I go back to sticking the Lacoste/Boss shoes/trainers back on, after a day, it hurts again.
Go Tikay!

We have a Jones Bootmaker in Leicester.
Shoes or boots? Off the shelf or made to measure?
Go Tony.

Day One, complete, we return for Day Two with 64,000.
Not huge, but playable.
Phew.
25 remain from today, 16 from yesterday. Several of yesterday's survivors had sub 60,000.
Play resumes at 4pm. (It's 03.35 now).
Enjoyed that, did my confidence no harm at all in a $1,100 jobbie.
Thanks for the rail, night all.
Shoe and feet discussion may now continue without interruption.

There's a Jones or two in Nottingham and I've bought a few pairs of decent shoes from them over the years but I don't think they actually make shoes to measure.
They have a few of their own brand on show but they never appealed to me.
PS Well done Tony.

So is Boot maker a euphemism for 'we sell other people's brands at a markup'?

They may not have
appealed
to Ralph(?!), but both shoes and boots worked for me Tom.
I'm assuming the better quality make, meant they had less give/or something I don't know and kept the original fit for longer etc.
Good luck finding your solution, its a bastard!!
Nice work TK.

So are you you recommending Jones's own brand?
