Level 10 complete.
No progress, am wading through treacle here.
Blinds about to go 800-1,600, have just shy of 20 bigs.
Found a few spots in the previous level, chopped them all.

Just got a horrible beat in a 70,000 pot, when my A-K-2-6 (aipf) was scooped by a guy who was a spot behind at both ends with A-Q--3-8.
That left me with dust, but trebled up very next hand, so now I have a bigger pile of dust.
16,000 @ 800-1,600.
Double or bust awaits.
38 left.

Another 8 turned, which was a decent card to give me the high and a beautiful
rivered, scoopio. About time I hit one of those beauties.
Keep getting them in good, you will win more than you lose.

Keep patient , let others make the mistakes.
Good effort so far.

Level 11 complete, still on life support with 8 Bigs at 1,000-2,000.
Have to find a spot to get it in pretty sharpish. A bit of luck and we could get back in this.
What a bummer that big pot was, had never been in danger all evening, but that's the game I guess.

I wish you would feck off with your pictures. I'm trying to get medical help here.
I've had a few bouts of plantar over the last ten years or so. Ibuprofen helps, as do a couple of exercises.
If your doc hasn't suggested any then ask why.
They aren't particularly physical btw, even I managed them.
Thanks Dave. I have done, and still do the exercises and I've had several courses of different anti inflammatory tablets, including Ibuprofen.
I just can't figure why it wont get better.
What type of shoes/trainers you wearing Tom?
I was the same for years but got special inserts made. Even have a pair in me slippers!
Stopped buying fashion shoes and spent proper money on shoes, has made all the difference. Not sure why the quality per say has made the difference, but it has.
My biggest problem is after a while, if its feeling ok, I don't bother moving the inserts from shoe to shoe, and sure as eggs is eggs, it comes back, and we start the process again.

There's a PLO8 at the Nugget Tuesday too at 11am. If you run badly you could play two in the same day!
Might see you at Venetian, I was planning a casino crawl up and down the strip playing cash sessions in as many card rooms as I can, but have had a flare up with my heel problems so might just find a decent game and sit in that
Lol, I hate to sound like a hypochondriac, (I'll have neuralgia next) but is your heel problem anything to do with plantar fasciitis Simon?
Yes Tom . I had a major attack two days before flying out, was in hospital as it felt like i had broken a bone. I was happy it was just plantar not a fracture. Ice packs and massage helps but i had been ok here until Friday, probably sitting in a poker tourny for longer than usual
I started to develop mild symptoms of plantar fasciitis about 3 years ago Simon. My Doctor said it would go away within a few months but it has slowly got worse. I'm now at the point where it hurts all the time when I walk and I can't manage more than a few hundred yards before I'm in extreme discomfort. It seems to seize up over night and when I get out of bed I can't put any weight on it at all. As you know I'm a very out doorsy person and this has put a severe crimp in my life.
I've had a cortisone injection and that worked great for a couple of weeks, and then it wore off over night leaving me worse than ever. I've been to a physiotherapist and a podiatrist, I've had inserts in my shoes and I've done all the stretching and massaging. nothing seems to work.
Any advice you could give me would be most welcome.
er this may be too basic advice, i've had it but obv nowhere near as bad as you. If i got it again i would be
rolling my feet on a bottle of ice, maybe 10 mins a foot 3 times a day
doing hundreds of step calf raises a day
doing tons of stretching not just calves, hamstrings, quads, hips, back, shoulders everything
popping at least 6 omega 3 caps a day
foam rolling everything
be walking around without shoes as much as poss
be doing the foot drills everyday
sorry if i'm teaching you how to suck eggs
I did the exercise regimes very enthusiastically at first byron, although I must admit I didn't include quads, hips back etc. When things didn't improve I kinda lost enthusiasm.

I've tried loads of different shoes Adz, and I've found that Clarks shoes and lightweight boots with the ActiveAir insole work best. Recommendations welcome.
I'm just in the process of trying new inserts from the podiatrist.
