You should be able to read the flops from there.

Exactly my first thought, Ralph.

15,000 chips, starting at 50-100, 40 minute clock. 64 entries at present.

Still steady on starting stack, though we have not started yet.

13 levels will be played today. I plan to play them all. *

* T & C's apply. Your investment can go down as well as down.

...,and after exactly one hand, we are above starting.

15,350.

Think I need to slow down a bit.

Level 1 safely negotiated, 118 entries now.

Got in a tricky spot with bad aces when I flopped two pair with my danglers, but it killed my emergency low and my hand lacked scope. I got away cheaply, and my man showed a flopped set of queens with A-2. Dodged a bullet there, I go broke there later in the tourney.

Next hand was limped 8 (EIGHT) ways and the board ran out 5 diamonds, no low. Nobody bet at any stage until the button bet the river weakly and I called with.....

  Two Diamonds

Ha, thanks Tikay!

Just trying to find my bearings and catch up with your adventures...

The DYM's have almost died off since you left. I think it is generally more +ev for myself to be playing OH8 MTT's rather than DYM's anyways so I will get busy with that and try and secure a little extra $$'s so I can hopefully get tore into the Big O games when I arrive.

Glad you got there safe and well and congrats on your win at the money exchange, WP Cheesy

Hope you are enjoying all the Starbucks and sticky buns and good luck in the Venetian PLO8 later today mate!

Welcome sir. You will know me better as Master Bates!

1st break after 3 levels, 136 runners now, blinds going 150-300, so the game starts proper now.

Good table, not too many serious heads, and it's generally passive city and ABC stuff.

17,900, no dramas, no fuss.

It's a lovely environment to play poker. Big comfy leather chairs, cup holders, plasmas showing live sport, an ELO tape playing, and a fresh Starby from across the Strip.

Just folded A-2  five way on a flop of 5-7-8, I had no realistic way of any high. Good food as it turned out - the low was chopped 3 ways.

Level 5 complete.

Bad, bad level. Raised pre 4 times, had to abandon ship all times.

Level 6 just started, 250-500, we are down to 25 bigs. Amazing how one bad level can change the whole complexion of the game.

Anyway, it was all a bit cosy before, now I will need to rev things up a bit. No need to do anything silly yet, but will re-assess after this level completes, which will be the dinner break.

Gill is coming across at the dinner break, so I will treat her to burger and chips.

Got it all in on a great flop, was scooping until the river but still got three quarters, so 19,600 now, welcome to my comfort zone.

Feels better.

Yeah, we only live once, and I like to spoil her.

Just before the dinner break, raised and called the reraise with A-K-2-3 cc and ran smack into aces.

Missed everything, not even a low, so that has plummeted me into code red, with 11 bigs at 300-600.

Can't play the hand any different, so no complaints.

Gamble mode now fully engaged.
