Very good.
More of a worry is predictive text.
Quite how predictive text produces "Manichaeism" from "which" i am not entirely sure.
Duly edited now.

Pete C exited in a real nasty coup, similar, apparently, to his first bullet.
He took it well though, he seems very chilled and relaxed these days.

End of level 5, 22,000 going 300-600 in level 6, so just over 35 bigs.
Had a ton of action, been as high as 31,000.
Only 2 of the original table remain, Billy Big stack and me, he has 70,000 or more.
All the new players coming in are late entries or 2nd bullets playing their relative short stacks spin-up style, so the pots are getting big quite quickly, and players are coming and going all the time.

........and BUSTO.
Had.....
Flop.....
I bet this and Billy Big calls me.
Turn......
Billy leads out, I fear he may have the J10 but when he bets I am either folding or potting, and I have such a lovely hand, so I go for broke, and went broke when it blanked. He had, of course, the J-10.
Probably not the greatest play ever, but he was pushing me around a lot, and I was far from convinced he had the goods. Which he did.
Not much of a sweat really, and felt I ran a little under Ev, but there it is, gg.

Unlucky.
Even against the nuts it's a flip assuming he didn't have AK too.

Thanks Ralph.
No play today (Saturday) but roar back into action at 5pm Sunday, at Venetian again, in the $600 PLO8.
On reflection, I was a little tentative & ring rusty last night. Think I should have performed a little better.
Billy Big Stack was really piling the pressure on, & running over the table, & I thought he was the guy who might give me the 2xUp. That went well. He was a nice kid though, & a very decent player, deffo the class of the table.

It's been quite warm in England today. Muggy, but warm.
Just thought I'd let you know what you're missing, Tikay.

I need to save some material for my blogs Next Door, so only a small update for now.
Tried to get a seat at the Venetian Big O cash table last night, but some local jumped the queue & I lost the seat, which irritated me a tad, so I headed over to The Rio to see what they had going.
There were 7 (SEVEN) Tables of $1 $2 Big O, & 2 Tables of $5 $5 Big O.
I put my name on the list, & identified 5 of the 7 tables that looked suitable for a man of my abilities. My name was soon called, & I get plonked on one of the other two. Marv.
Miss Variance then made her first appearance of the Trip, smiling kindly on me, & $500 soon became $1,300, & without any great skill or effort, the hands just fell right for me. I briefly toyed with the notion of moving to one of the $5 $5 Tables, but my nitty tendencies re-surfaced & spared me that ordeal.
I gave a bit back later, when a really good player joined the table & appointed himself Table Captain, & I kept getting myself into awkward spots.
After dribbling down to $900, I decided that'd do for Day 1, & hit & run with my $400 profit, & quite happily.
Table Charges at The Rio are $7 every 30 minutes, & some of the dealers are very slow, combine that with endless petty arguments from some players means we don't get many hands for $7.
In a surprise (to me) move, The Rio Cash Games no longer have Chip Runners - we have to go to the Cage to get, or top up, chips now. Cash is not allowed on the Table either, at least it was not on my Tables last night.

"Quite warm"?
Define "quite warm", Mr Tal.
It was 39c @ 0900 here this morning.
I went outside 20 mins ago & the heat was just brutal, positively brutal.

Under that, but it was overcast, in fairness.

The flight was fine, left on time, no dramas, & the luxury of an empty seat next to me.
Immigration was fast, plane landed at 1pm, & I was at the Rio, queuing at Check-in by 2pm. I was in that queue 90 minutes....... Never mind, that apart no complaints. Unpacked, showered, then off to Venetian.
Had a sumptuous burger & chips from the Sports Deli @ 2am, followed by a brace of Haagen Dazs choc ices, & was in bed by 3am. Think that made yesterday a 30 hour day (got up at 5am UK, went to bed at 3am USA), though I slept a fair bit on the flight.
Was up at 6am, this morning, bright as a lark, no jet lag, no tiredness, amazing after a 30 hour day yesterday followed by just 3 hours in bed.
Dealt with a bunch of office e-Mails first, then went & collected my Rental Car @ 0700. Drove across to McCarron Airport to have a bit of a look around, Vegas is lovely first thing in the morning.
Came back just before 9 & got myself set up in the Media Centre.
It's Flights E & F of Colossus today, so 10,000 players expected in those. At 9am, the queue for Hash House A Go Go in the Rio Corridor was over 150 yards long, maybe 200-300 people stood outside queuing. The queue for the Starby's next to Penn & Teller was nearly as long, so I used the other one, round by Ipanema Tower, no queue there.
Am Blogging all day today, got 3 Blogs to file for Next Door.
Gill arrives at Noon tomorrow, she's unbelievably excited. I'll collect her from McCarron, we'll go for a swim, then maybe a nap, them I'm off to Venetian to play the O8 thing.
