Morning all.

Struggling with the Internet in my room so can't access my lappie this morning, so ippy only and therefore gotta keep it brief. I can only type so fast with one finger.

Thanks for all the kind messages.

Last night hurt a bit, bound to so close to the money, and when looking 0/6 in the eye. If I run with a bigger stack these things don't happen so much though, but I seem to lack the gamble these boys have.

I had no problem with the lad's little speech, I wanted his call and it was not said in a smug or smartarse way. It was nip and tuck after the flop, but he did a get. No complaints.

Saw Marky in the Rio corridor as I was trudging back with a lip on. He had come to bok me but got his timing all wrong.

Get something like this Boss.. doubles as a case and a keyboard.. ill send you a link if you are interested

Ooh, very good.

Yes please Dean, send me a link.

3 levels and first break complete, no fuss, no dramas, no change.

Mr FOS is running the table ragged, betting everything and turning up with all sorts of deleterious matter.

He's so bad he's good. Well, dangerous.

Late Reg ends after level 6. Gotta decide whether to take Mr FOS on before the end of late reg, with the insurance of a re-entry, or wait until Reg has closed.

This thing is gonna be seriously fast, it's barely lunchtime yet and the blinds are already 300-600 as we begin level 5.

Got 25,000 from 20,000 starting, so have increased my starting stack by 25% but still only have 40 Bigs in level 5.

28,600, which feels a bit better.

They are, as usual, playing music over the PA system.

Think I would happily pay another 5% on top of the reg fee to play in a music free environment.

What is this obsession to provide music 24/7 in public buildings?

People have personal music players if they can't manage without music, so why do we all have to be inflicted with frigging music everywhere?

Thanks Aaron.

Maybe, maybe not. I'll give him one thing, he is unreadable. He's like Albert Sapiano on a loose day.

Good luck today, chaps!

I'll time my next bok better Wink

Hopeless.

PS - was great to see you last night.

That's normally what my efforts at dieting are described as Cheesy

Likewise, and I look forward to seeing the 08 army descend on my beloved Nugget next week.

Finally get to meet Doobs, and hopefully see Tal again, too.

At most poker venues. The card rooms are just add ons to casinos, and the music is for the casino clients really, but it just spills into the poker area.

DTD which began as poker only but is now a sort of casino too - and it remains a great poker room by uk standards - has permanent music too. Loud music, way too loud. I have no idea who actually likes the music, mind. Doubt it is the poker players.

That's the great thing with the WSOP - no frigging music. God, it's poker Heaven, it really is.
