Fish, chicken, veg, salad as few carbs as possible
some walking, regularly
with the odd relapse on the carbs

How much weight have you lost? And in what time frame?

I did 3 stone in 4 months. Was 15st now 12.
I've lost the weight before but always put it back on.
I've heald steady between 11st 12lb and 12st 2lb for over 3 months now so I've bit the bullet and given away all my big-boy pants & shirts.
Talk about tempting fate....

I was on a diet
All I lost was my glasses
I have a crumpet or two for breakfast
4? X a week a toasted bacon sarnie ketchup but no butter or spread !
Odd weeks with almost no alcohol
Odd week here n there with a bit more
In my pack up
4 ryvitas with thinly sliced cheese
An apple
A banana
2 lo fat yogurt s instead of chocolate bars
A slice of Barrabree - Welsh recipe fruit soaked in cold tea with flour sugar and eggs - so zero fat
Then a regular dinner at night - overseen by my Mrs a diet jihadi priestess of the slimming world / weight watchers clubs for 35 years veteran
Who at 9.5 to 10.5 stone swears she is fat club extremist
I can’t shift any weight
Drives me crazy
ESP with the Mrs constantly on my case

Knock Knock, is there anybody out there?
Quick thought:
How many readers will be in Manchester on the 12th November to be part of the "Tikay Rail Birds?"

Ha, hi Dave, sorry for slow reply. An awful lot happening for me irl right now, hence the radio silence, will fill you in when I see you & Sue in Manchester next weekend.
It's been a very long time since I touched a playing card so I'm not sure how long I'll last next weekend. In fact I may not play - if there is a huge alternates list of Clients awaiting a seat it'd be a bit rum for me to plonk myself down & enjoy myself. I did that once at SPT Brighton & it just felt so wrong. Anyway, we'll see. But I'm all set, train seat booked, hotel booked. Apart from a trip up to Flutter's shiny new Office in Leeds last week, it will be my first real trip out for almost two years. I'm doubly nervous - 1) the old COVID, especially as I usually do the "Meet & Greet", which is not ideal in current circumstances. 2) Almost 2 years locked up indoors, on my own, & I fear I may have become a bit "socially awkward". I'm very very happy being alone but then when I mix in outside company I feel a bit awkward, rather as a teetotaller does in a room full of drunk folks. Just, you know, awkward. Anyway, we'll see. I'm also rather dreading three x 18 hour days back to back, my energy levels are not what they used to be.
Safe journey, see you next week.

I keep waiting for the 'phone to ring....
I actually find it all a bit intriguing. His "I'm leaving Sky" statement struck me as crafted with great care, & it left me wondering where he will pop up next. I'm almost certain he's not retiring.
He has/had a great gig with Sky Bet too, so I'm guessing that might be ending too.
How's the family? You still in Malta? RIO going OK? Very very strange times in the world of Online Poker right now, one way & another.
I was pleasantly surprised to hear from Jim McShane (77 dave) last week, & I think we are going to hook up next week in Manchester. He's a big noise in Grosvenor Poker now apparently. Well done him.
I keep in pretty close touch with Chompy, he sends me a few losing tips most weeks. It's what friends are for, right?
Keep in touch mate.
