Not sure if anybody has mentioned Hungerford. That was a big story from my schooldays. Some crazy guy who just decided to go on the rampage in 1987 shooting 14 random people. I remember being very paranoid for weeks after that; everyone was a potential nutter when I was walking to school!
Ooh, yes - Michael Ryan. Complete head-case. Such a strange place for such a thing to happen.

hope this works ok & you like the pics. The deer roam freely around the park / golf course & are often grazing on the fairways & rough, around the greens and even plod through the bunkers and they don't repair their footprints!
Where's that Steve - Richmond? Wollaton?

I played there a couple of weeks ago, the deer do make it quite special.

Hungerford is a stunning part of the country. Lived in a converted barn there for a year or so eight or nine years ago. Part of a farm owned by Henry and Davina. I kid you not.
Still, random nutters can pop up anywhere, so why not Hungerford I guess.

There are a lot of Deer at Wollaton - Karabiner's course -and at Quarndon, the other side of the M1, in Derby, they have geese by the thousand, who poo all over the greens. Nice poo, like, but poo.

Why do people PM you when they are angry?
Obviously you can't give details, but can you give us an idea? Blonde related i presume?

I think what Tikay is inferring is that he's had a lot of PM's from people agreeing with the stance he's taken on certain threads/posts.
