stop it Tikay. 11.5 stone is taking it too far. You need to put a few pounds back on imo - you're not as nice to cuddle any more

Tikay for some reason just seeing your post about the situation is reassuring. Sounds pretty ghey but true.
HI Big Man,
Ugh at your situation, omg man.
I rung you twice yesterday, unless I had the wrong number.* Greek Boy was then gonna text me your number, just to make sure I had it right, but he forgot.
When we get to talk, you'll be interested in my views, I'm quite sure, but I'm not doing it all over the Forum.
* It's possible I messed up. Maria got me a new phone, & it's a complete bag of poo, impossible to use.
hi Tony, do u mind PMing me your number and I'll give you a ring. PM me when's convineint for you. Ta

ahh the old team back at work Jonny G is a top man too, should be great fun for you both. I don't really know what Compo is doing, I heard a story he was in the US but not sure of the details.
maybe not the time or place to ask, but i miss months at a time on this place - what happened with Compo ?

Tikay I feel sorry for the amount of shit you have to deal with.
I will pm you his number now - apologies for forgetting. I'm also working with a phone that's not working with me.
One thing that does annoy me a bit is the 'aftermath' geniuses. People like your guy who knew he was dodgy 6 months ago. WHY not say it then!?
The shit I deal with? I would not mind, but none of it is anything to do with me. I pay my bills, keep my nose clean, & put on clean knickers every day.
My pal told me he saw sure it was iffy, & he or I could have Posted it yeah. And what reaction do you think that would have received? And he had no proof, & neither did I. To be honest, I never paid much attention, I am trying more & more to live in peace, so I try to keep away from all the aggro areas. I'm not doing too well, mind.
But many had decided, even then, to steer clear.
I'm really sad about your situation, & I hope you were able to follow through along the lines we discussed.
Cheers bud, yeah I did follow through with all and glad I did now.
Apologies for never following your poker lines though.
@Celticdonkeychubbster - It's not quite like someone has to say outright 'I think Blatch is on the nick' but it's not hard to say look, we need screenshots.
If mods like Tikay are turning away at looking over staking boards then something should be put in place to stop staking on such levels happening through blonde. (That wasn't a dig btw Tony if it came across that way - trying to make a constructive point).

Several girls said the same thing. It won't be 11st 7lbs long, the diet ends with a fried brekkie at Gatters on July 1st, & Vegas will be junk-food heaven, NO restrictions, as I reckon I've got half a stone of "spare" now. I've got 4 pairs of trousers to grow back into, too.
Good to see you yesterday, & thanks for mending my phone.

Phew, glad you did that fella, that's good to hear.
Stopping the Staking Boards is easy. But it solves nothing, peeps will still do it, because poker has become a game where many live on credit, & credit-crunches always expose these situations. So in a way, it's better to have it hi-vis.

Looking back there were definate tell tale signs and having known him for so long I'm questioning every littlle in discretion he made.
Example- he used to drive a blue mg rover. Sporty car. Next thing he hasn't got a car- why? He was involved in a crash on the motorway- when was this? Right about the time of the IVA.
The truth is even though all these "tell-tale" signs were there it didn't matter. Because I honestly did not think he was capable of doing something of this magnitude. Hell I didn't think he'd grim anyone for anything. U dismiss those things because you trust people. Esp your mates.
The storyline to every pseudo Ponzi sheme unfolds in EXACTLY the same way. google is your friend. Or bitter experience.
I've been there, too, lost the lot to a conman, £29k, back in the late seventies, & was out in the street at age 32, penniless, car less, homeless, & jobless. The fight back, the recovery, was far & away -
easily
- the best time of my life. It's incredibly satisfying to bounce back from these things, work your way out of it with no help from anyone, no loans, no benefits. As, week by week, I clawed my way out of the hole, I realised that my man had done me a favour, in a weird way. It's only money, & that's easy to recover from.

The smoking - it's a deffo. My head is almost in the right place, & that's the key, dieting, smoking, the head HAS to be in the right place, the rest is a piece of piss.
Are you now in rude health, after the op & everything?

That's a bit awkward (ring me any time, it's a very long story), but I think he hit the wrong side of the variance curve, big time. A tragedy, he had 2 lovely jobs (ATR & Sky Poker), he was talented & respected, a beautiful home, wife, Son & Daughter, 5 series in the drive, life was good.
This gambling lark causes a headache or two, eh? When you think of the stories that have gone through blonde! I can think of 4 or 5 that rinsed more than £120k.
How is your Brother now?
