I'm still trying to get my head round this "International Federation of Competitive Eating" & "Major League Eating".

It can't be real, can it?

Jesse May asked Tony and me an interesting question at the airport.

"Who is your favourite WSOP main event champion?"

Tony said Greg Raymer, I said Huick Seed.

Anyone else got opinions?

Moneymaker because of the name and everything he brought to online poker. Played with him at the PCA and he is a very nice guy as well.......

A variety of opinions is a good thing. Wink

Dunno, he couldn't have been more polite and friendly when I spoke to him.........

Well the two of you do have various common traits......

Well, seeing as you mention that, the last time I interviewed Mr Surly Chris, he' just sorted a major diet, & had lost 3 stone.

Whereas you don't have 3 stone to spare. Do you?

Anyways, back to Camel's question.

good luck in Vegas Tikay.

Stay away from helicopters

On the glasses problem, we saw these sports glasses in an opticians this week, they are only £38 including lenses.

Wear around the neck untill needed, then the magnet on the bridge holds them together.

Its great for flying and landing in branchy trees

Clic sports glasses

ESPN  actually televised the annual hotdog eating contest live from Coney Island earlier this afternoon - not to be watched while having a meal. Not pleasant viewing   Shocked

Oh....they are very real.  Once when I was running a sportsbook in Antigua catering mainly to Americans I came up with the idea of putting up a betting market on the Nathans Hot Dog Eating competition to get some publicity and the IFOCE contacted me asking if they could persuade us to bet on all of their "tour" events given we had managed to get them so much publicity and thus, I was introduced to such marvels as the world nacho eating championships, the Jimmy Johns sanwich eating contest and the World Oyster eating championships.....they even run sats for the Nathans Hot Dog eating comp now.  Funnily enough, we actually had a couple of shrewd punters that beat us as I just naively assumed that being a great hot dog eater was the same as being a great oyster eater but apparently not and it was a major rick to put Kobayshi in at 1/6......although I still suspect it might have been a bent heat and he wasn't "off" that day

After watching Rookles in action on Friday night, he would be my first choice.
I have never seen anyone destroy two curries like he did.

Jeeves is a FRAUD.

It's his job to do my chirping for me, & I've not seen a word about last night.

If  he cannot reveal what happened, we KNOW he's not for real.
